Just that, how many people read our blog regularly?. Is there anything specific you might want to know more about that we can put on it?. Don't forget to click the 'share' buttons when you read them... |

We plan to keep better track of our work so we can post more info in future... Any suggestions on what you'd want to see more?, other than stuff that's in development... |

I admit that I never actually read it. Nothing personal. |

I read it when you post there is an update. But what I would like to see is just various ideas you guys come up with, see what others think of it, see if there would be much point pursuing that idea. More thins would be reminiscing over old games, talking about what you particularly liked from them, what inspired you, what ideas you'd like to use in your own games, any weapons or features in your games that were inspired from old games, stuff like that. Maybe some info on what goes in your head during your brainstorming sessions that leave you with such awesome projects. Also, some insight on what you guys like to do on what little free time you got would be neat, and what things you are trying to figure out that will be needed for your project, how you find the info, and maybe a little bit of info on what you guys are doing to get yourselves into the industry. |

Yo Thanks guys.. @Arbee: So you haven't seen those Beasts in progress? @Xav: Good ideas there i think. What i might do is add separate blogs soon for each of us dev's to write more varied things to. Does that sound like a good or bad idea? The user-base would remain so you wouldn't have to register for each blog Otherwise if everyone would rather just read from a single blog, let us know here.. |

@Xav: Yeah, I think if we each had separate blogs, we might post more of the info you mentioned, otherwise it requires one person to get the info from the others, and then post it... But perhaps having a general blog as well as the personal ones will give us more options.. TurdDrive wrote: Another good thing is the run throughs of some of your Models, Yeah, with us hopefully remembering to take screenshots of our work as it comes, we can explain the steps, including the early design and concept stuff... As for the string of Ideas we have, not sure what to do there, not put your ideas out there so snakes can't steal, or not worry and rather build more interest in our stuff by posting the ideas as they come, the later is probably best...

Multi-blog sounds interesting. But will one person be able to click one link and view the latest blogs from all three without having to juggle the links? |

That's the one problem i see with multi-blogs. May just have to keep it singular unless we find some good way of doing them. We still need to fix/add some features to our web-work |

Shall be honest, Rooks Keep doesn't really interest me... I know you keep saying there are modes which are not chess... but still a chunk of it is just chess... I am sorry to say that; I know that it is just personal preference and what you have done is amazing. I do look at the blog briefly, drooling over the quality of the models, but I very rarely read the blog itself >.>; Mal P.S please don't hate me, I just thought I should be honest... |

raziel wrote: Shall be honest, Rooks Keep doesn't really interest me... I know you keep saying there are modes which are not chess... but still a chunk of it is just chess... Fair enough. Although, the proportion of it that's just chess is diminishing as we work. We can think about putting some of our design machinations on the blog. What do you think of discussions about experimental and theoretical ideas? Perhaps we can talk about some of the million and fifty ideas we've come up with... Rooks Keep isn't the only game we'll be making, but their fate depends on how well RK does. The other thing we are thinking about is putting up tutorials and other UDK developer related stuff. |

raziel wrote: P.S please don't hate me, I just thought I should be honest... Honesty is gold, why would we hate, chess isn't for everyone. But Like DC said, its chess part is getting smaller and smaller... Well, we certainly ain't short on ideas, and they've only gotten better over the years.. Unfortunately I have a hard time coming up with simple game ideas, I prefer story driven games.. DarkCarnivour wrote: The other thing we are thinking about is putting up tutorials and other UDK developer related stuff. Yep, and if I get my posh 3D UI working good, it will also make a good community piece...
