So I just got a new Gtx 520 gfx card. it installs and everything looks like tis fine, but i cant play me games, nor can i change my screen resolution. anyone got anything? cus im very upset :(

yes sir. did that on purpose. just needed something better than the built in chip set.
anyway, any help?
never mind i fixed it, and btw, this card has been remasted by zorac, to be better than the gtx 440

LOL! thats funny! :D and i wasn't joking, there's a small department of there company out by me, they say that its better than the original but who knows. doesn't seem slow to me

Yeah I wouldn't doubt it either, just a marketing tool im guessing.

I kinda have some fears about this, I fear a scam.

Don't always go to any shopping site, there are many of em that scam people of their money. Always try to go for the trusted sites like Frys, Amazon, or Newegg. And even though they may have a somewhat higher price, its usually the lowest you can find safely, without getting into those scam sites. Also, while it may be a local tronics store, but I would prefer going to a well known, big firm that has proven itself to the market, like Frys or hell, maybe even Walmart. :dance: However, Ur best bet is online shopping of those sites IMO.

Of course, it may just be a way of marketing... but still. Anything can happen.

I bought it off of newegg, and its a fine gfx card, I dont find it slow at all, maybe they did do something to it, I dont know, dont really care lol. it works and thats good enough

Its one of the more basic cards I know that, but it would be ok for the likes of you, if its ur choice.

Ill going for a 560 GTX, a Windows 7 HP disk, and a new harddrive for that so I don't have to reformat my older disk. That wont be probably till sumwhere between the 10 and the 20th of the month, b4 those newgames comes out.


Anyway, its understandable u dont have enough for the best of the best, but thats not needed for casual ones who dont require all that bulk anyway.

For me and other hardy peeps who want action and all that hardcore stuff, higher end PCs is needed, with a greater cost of resources of course.
