Meh for Borderlands 2, and ANOTHER Assassin's Creed game? Didn't they just released a new one like a month ago?

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - Seeing as this takes place during the events of 2 and 3 and RE2 was my favorite (G-Virus FTW), I'm definitely stoked. I was one of the few who was disappointed with the change and direction 4 went with.

My impression of resident evil is a poor horror game, but I only know 4 and 5, perhaps the others were less arcade like?... Still those weren't bad...

The ones before 4 and 5 were definitely not arcade like. Ammo/Resource management was essential to surviving (especially against larger foes and bosses). There weren't any quick-time events (that's the big thing that upset me about RE4). Even though there are weapons and ammo in the earlier games, they weren't given away like I felt they were in RE4. Even if someone found the most powerful gun (outside of unlockables that is) in the game they still had the odds against them.

In fact, one of the many resources that were important in RE games prior to 4 was typewriter tape. Without it, there was no way to save the game (using typewriters in safe rooms provided save points).

One of the downsides to the earlier games was the awkward control scheme and camera angles that took some time to get used to. They fixed both (the controls to some extent) in 4. That's about the only praise I can give 4. I never played 5.
