Even further revolutionizing what technology can do, Google has now developed Gmail Tap to make sending messages even easier.

This is pretty damn awesome. They managed to take a touch screen keyboard and make it even more streamlined. I can't wait to try this out, those keys run together an awful lot and leave me with some pretty garbled text on my tablet, this looks like it'd eliminate that completely.

I wonder how hard it'd be to learn the new language for it though..

Apparently theirs more than one kind of Morse code.
One would think that they are using the international version.

Gotta love when a mega corporation like Google can have a sense of humor to play along with everyone else on April 1st.

I was going to learn Morse code at one point, then I decided Spanish would be more useful, and it's not nerdy... :D

Hey Black Eagle! I'm intrigued, why you decided Spanish and not other language? Do you feel attracted to our culture or something special? I think it's for the black leg ham from our country! ;D

Óle!

Well it just seemed like the natural choice, I like the language and culture, its the second most used, and we have some literature on it already... ;)

I plan to tackle the other European languages at some point, French, Italian, possibly Germanic ones, all of which take many years...

Plus anything as far away from the crappy local languages we have here in South Africa the better, no offense to anyone south african... :D

Glad to read this!
I would like to improve my limited English.

I never see an April Fools American tradition on Internet, and this is the first. In Spain we celebrate the "Day of the Innocents" at 28 of Dicember.

Heh, as would I! ;)

Also, I was once and may still contemplate learning German at an unlikely point in the future.

I recommend that! :P

You know, for game developers german is an important language as most popular games have a very large german player base, and the germans have really developed to a gaming nation over the past years lol.
Most games I have seen have introduced a german version earlier than for example a french version, if they haven't been developed in a french speaking country of course.

To topic:

Companies making a large effort for April Fools Day is nothing special. See the makers of the MMORPG "Runescape" - Jagex - coming up with "JagMotion": Youtube Link
(For some reason the only video I could find was with german subtitle. ::) )
