Post subject:  What's New with SX
Hi guys!

I haven't posted on this part of the forum in a long time. So I guess I'll explain what's going on.


First and foremost, I was originally kept this quiet, but since things change like the days, I'll explain.

Originally me and my father were going to move over to the Philippines to start a new life, but while he was eager in getting a new girlfriend and a new life; I couldn't follow him, after all, between constant arguing and fights, I figured it's time we went our separate paths, so while he's over with his new lady friend, I'm pulling lots of time at work and BW stuff and writing, etc.


Second, I've been posting lots of UT stuff on my DA Gallery lately, and writings have been slowing down to a considerable degree, most days I'm burned out from work and puppy sitting.

Speaking of, I got two shih-tzu's (spelling?)/maltese hybrids, cute little guys, annoying as hell though. ???

Third, I got a new avvie, PS Vita, a couple of games, and next month I'm getting Borderlands 2.



So what's going with you guys?

In terms of real life, I've pretty much overthrown my life recently. Stopped studying because I couldn't pass maths, which also means hanging up my dream job and now looking to find a suitable qualified job with formal training.

And concerning the virtual life, I'm struggling to get my first UT2004 map releasable... :P

What am I up to? The usual :D
Work on Rooks Keep, daily illustration practice, music practice, messing about with other projects, and just now trying to get serious with level design :)

For me.
Youngest sons been clean for two month and counting, wich is great!!!
I have pinched nerve in back, wrist and hands hert, can't draw on my tablet or play games, computers turned in to a TV, but I can still work circles around the young guys at work.

I'm guessing some kind of engineering thing? What is/was it, if you don't mind my asking?

My dream was becoming geologist. More precise a paleontologist. (paleontology is a section of the broader field "geological sciences")

But that is away now. Sad, but not changeable. I got to look forward... ;) :-\

I had been busy plotting evil deeds while my computer was out of commission for a while. :(

It's back up again, so now it's back to Rooks Keep, Spanish, Drawing, 3D Modelling, Driving, and some of my own projects. Well that's what I should be doing but I tend to flail about and only really get Rooks Keep done regularly. :D

I've been gone for long enough now too.

I finished my Software Engineering studies and now all that is left to do for school is a Game Design specialization minor and an internship in game design.

Meanwhile... I've found actual work with a game design company called 'BlewScreen' and I'm programming lots of scripts for Unity3D that can be used by pretty much any game. Current project is a mobile game for mobile iOS and Android, the first of this company.

My little flash-engine is halted for now. I aim to round that up when things quiet down but they never do. I also started an international facebook group called the 'Game Creation Hub' for those developpers that have awesome idea's but not the people to get feedback from or form teams with.

So, lot's to do :P But I think it's not a bad idea if I keep an eye on things here too... Rook's Keep is looking more and more interresting and the people here are far from boring.

I have tried to find participants for microstate to correct the flaws of incapable designers and half-assed dumb society. Not so much luck up till now. I think i have discoevered principle for a non reactive engine.. woot cheap satellites perhaps. talked to aliens since then in dreams not much information so they might not be aliens.. but i dont care about this.. intelligent agent is intelligent agent. i dont know enough of human brains working to think about being aliens having any special meanings.. I start to be a little bit too much annoyed by those who follow me constantly.. they are retarded and they dont do anything i say to them.. quite not much of it.. stupid elitist twats and bitches.
