For those who don't know, I live at UTC+12 so It is the 21st and I am well into the apocalypse already. You may be pleased to know that it's a lovely day today. The local river is running red with blood. The skies are dark as Nubiru blocks out the sun overhead and the wind gusts with the souls of the damned. Cthulu has come to pay a visit too. He's emerged from the east coast to say hi and has currently destroyed our port cities. He plans on working his way forward through the time zones. I hope he wont be too exhausted by the end. Merry Apocalypse to you all and have a happy end of world

Well that was over quickly. You know the whole apocalypse thing has made 2012 a pretty memorable year. Just like how 2000 was the year of Y2K and hilarious stupidity, 2012 was the year of misinterpreted Mayan prophesies and hilarious stupidity. This is a moment to remember. Twas a good year this one.

Don't worry you will have always a band of illuminated people who will predict a newer apocalypse in the next decades. Apparently those events are made to boost sales since some people are stupid enough to believe them. They will buy things that in normal times they won't buy; pretty clever from the people who are still making these; mostly thinking the media making all the buzz around it.
