My dad introduced me to it, and I think it's a pretty fun game. Does anyone in this community play it? For those who do, what tanks do you run? Currently, I'm using the Panzer III and the Hetzer, for the most part, and I almost have enough XP to research the StuG III. |

For me, it's the fact that each round is capped at 15 minutes of time - after that it ends, no matter what happens. That means one can play a round or two even if one only has a short break. You always know how much time you will have to spend. Also, it's a really good tactical and also action-filled game that's not just about driving around with the biggest gun - it's also about having to think about what your opponent will do and using that against him. That combination makes it such a cool game for me. EDIT: Hey ChaosMarine, how about playing some platoon matches together some time? |

I got the StuG III a couple days ago... So far, the Hetzer is still my favorite... Got six kills one game with it. I've started with American TDs as well... I wanna do a whole pro/con/versus thread for all the TDs. At the T82 right now. Baryonyx, sure, I'd love to. I'm currently working towards the Pz III/IV and the IV. For SPGs, I'm using a Sturmpanzer II. How is the Grille? If you guys are looking for a clan, my dad actually started one. Sadly though, still not enough people for Clan Wars, lol. http://worldoftanks.com/community/clans ... 144-USMCR/ Blade, honestly, I dunno. So far, I have to agree with Baryonyx, it's a very tactical game, it can be quite fast-paced, or really slow. It mostly depends on the match making. Another good point, that I really like, is that you can use so many different tactics. You can drive around with a big gun and "brawl"(mostly medium tanks); you can run laps around one person, while shooting a small gun at their weaker points(sides/back)(light tanks); in a TD, or certain tanks like the Pz IV, you can snipe. Perhaps one of the best points of it though, IMO, is that you can put in mods. P-x-N, I haven't gotten up to those tiers yet, haha. After I use the American TDs, I dunno if I'm gonna go to the French or Russian ones, but after 8.4 goes live, I'm gonna try the British TDs. But I agree about the Chinese tanks... They just don't seem as fun as the others. |

The Grille is interesting as it's the vehicle that marks the spot where small arties that need to follow the main force up to the middle of the map (Grille stock gun) change to those that can reach over the whole battlefield. (Grille second gun) PM me your Account name so I can add you. EDIT: Never mind, I found you on the clan list. EDIT 2: Game can't find you... Different server I suppose...

(Grille second gun) Really? Wow. Isn't the stock gun the same as the StPz II? So that would make sense. But I didn't realize the second gun was just that much better. haha Quote: EDIT 2: Game can't find you... Different server I suppose... ![]() That's probably it... That really sucks. |

However, upgrading the gun also makes reloading speed much longer. It depends on your play style - whether you want to be a "light field howitzer" or a proper arty camper. |

Well, hopefully, when i get to it, I'll also have enough extra credits to get the gun rammer. Which will be quite useful, I think. lol |
