Went to Great Falls today and snagged me a nice, simple recurve bow. It may be for kids, but it's good for my weak arms. |

I'm pretty sure that's just a regular short bow and not a recurve, SX. You may want to consider looking into compound bows too, easy to draw and effortless to hold drawn. |

If you have to pull the arms to the other side when stringing the bow, then it's a recurve. I have a very similar bow to what you have shown in the picture. Just remember that - if you are righthanded - hold the bow in the left hand.  That's the most important thing. |

I see. You will shoot with it in a target center or in your backyard. And just by curiosity is it to train yourself about shooting with a bow or just having some fun ? |

Where I live, it's illegal to shoot a bow in city limits, so I'll have to shoot it out of town. Just for fun. |
