Not sure where to put this thread at, but I have an issue with my physical Copy of UT2004 on windows 8.1. I recently got an Alienware 18 as a gift from my aunt, and when I installed my physical copy of UT2004 and the mega bonus pack, all my taunts for a normal male trooper is replaced with the male juggernaut voices. Even though my voice pack is set to Male Mercenary. The female merc/alien voices are replaced by the female juggernaut voices as well. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so, how do I fix it? |

Does the log show anything interesting? Also, I think it is possible to set all characters to one in the UT2004 ini, so check there if something says all voices are this. |

Nothing in the log that's out of the ordinary. Can't find anything in the UT2004 and User config files either. |

Looked around in google a little, apparently the problem occurred a few times already, not only with Win 8. But unfortunately there was no confirmed solution, in another forum someone said Quote: Try copying the .upl files from the System folder off your UT2004 disk into your System folder on the hard drive if you're having problems with character voices. Other than that I can only recommend a reinstall. |

I'll have to try it. *nod* Thanks. I did turn off taunts completely in case they don't work. EDIT: After trying to copy the files from the CD into the system folder and a reinstall. Both solutions don't work. This might have to do with age, as UT2004 is over a decade old. |
