Before you can understand, you need to learn the basics. They aren't idiots, they just haven't put a solid ground to keep the knowledge away from sinking away.

solid ground? Still most of them like having everything they download to be installed very easily, or else they freak out not knowing which file goes where... but i learn all that on my second day of owning UT2k4

Because you learn quickly doesn't mean all other people do. If things can be installed easily, why not go the easy route? Even if I knew how to program an OS, I'd still buy and use Windows.

BTW, the Atari forum goers don't seem to be that nasty, or stupid. I think they just need to be gently taught. But I hate the new regulations for registrations.

The whole point of a spam fourm is that you don't moderate it... unless some idiot is posting links to pron, than you have to moderate for the sake of all the little BWers out their!

That is why it needs to be moderated; allowing spam is one thing, but looking at every post for something breaking the rules is a daunting task.

well your lucky i was just on the Project Torlan (HaloUT website) and went into the off topic and Spammage fourms and man it was just filled up with pron threads. Than again thats to be expected since the site is almost totally dead.

Dead until UT2007? It may be permamently dead, happened to most mods that wanted to move from UT2003 to UT2004.
