Besides the UT series, I would like to show you some of my other favorites:

THE ELDER SCROLLS. I think everyone knows that TESIV: Oblivion came out recently. I'm drooling for it, waiting for the price to be more affordable to me (I am a cheap trash buyer :P.). www.theelderscrolls.com

WarCraft Series: It is so easy to create a map. The graphics are comprised of bulky people, so that made me a little upset :D. (Uh... I am pretty sure everyone knows a little about this game.)

Halo series: I play for graphics, vengeance on humanity, and hardcore blood with excellent gameplay.

Everquest Series: I only played Champions of Norrath, but it's good.

Time Splitters series: The game is loud and very funny too. My cousin and I spent an entire hour shooting crossbows at each other in the disgusting places (butt, crotch, nostrils, lips, abs, pinky, eyeball.). He also tries shooting my poor headless zombie's neck area. That was funny.

Sim City series, Roller Coaster Tycoon series, Zoo Tycoon series, and Marine Park Empire Series: Basically, I love alot of sim games. Especially ones where you can torture your people. My favorite torture? Sending a roller coaster on a loop flying off the track, drowning random guests, letting 30 dinosaurs loose (no zookeeper), and using UFOs to abduct your citizens. Bahahahahaha!

That's all for now. Hey, maybe you like some stuff that I like too! That'll be so cool! I want to get everybody's autograph (See how silly I am?)!

I was so bored I had to post all of this on the general board! Uh.... is it the right place? I don't know :P.

i have to say, if you have played TS2 all the way through (along with the arcade missions) you would know that its the GREATEST game of its time.

i wont lie i spent to many hours to count playing the non story mode unlocking hundreads of charactors/cheats each with their own stats.

MP was GREAT, if only it was online.............

TS3 didnt live up to TS2 (TS1 was for PS2, it had NO cut scenes or story. kinda boring, but like TS2 i played the NOn story mode unlocking charactors and cheats for hours). it lacked the originality that TS2 gave out.

Yup, it is :)

My other "favourites" include Age of Empires (but not the latest one!!), and I'm a big fan of all id software games, although I don't play them MP ! prefer the single play ones. Played their games since the begining. But I admire the skills and path of the creators and how they have shaped the gaming industry in the begining, more than anything.

Currently "hooked" on the valve stuff, have always enjoyed them in the past...really enjoying them now that I own a (almost complete series) legal copy :)

Really enjoying CS Source, but of course restricted to friends for MP, when time permits us to get together, which is not often, otherwise those bots get a good hiding :)

BTW, I'm playing CS on a P3 800Mhz laptop with 384Mb RAM. Have to turn everything down, but it runs quite well :)

favourite games? hmmm..

i have no idea wot Halo is!
Sim games are not our favourite things...
Warcraft used to be okay, until they churned out Warcraft3:angry:
StarCraft and Total Annihilation are our fav' strategy games..

Age of Empires is pretty good, Id games are among the best, Valve games are all cool! We also played SoF2 a lot..

as for Unreal, 2004 and 2003 are really not as good as the first 2.. but, u know;)

other than that, there are a ton of games we havent played, (Doom3, Quake4, AOE3, WoW, etc.. anything from 2004 onward!

Oh, yeah! I just have to mention Unreal2! What a disgusting dissapointment! Didn't deserve its purchase!
No MP! wtf?
Plus its SP was a bit lame, perdictable and short as s**t.
If you do like it, then good for you. You must possess some quality we don't...:P

Here are my favorites except Unreal series.

Quake series: Mainly Quake+Expansions and Quake 2+Expansions

SWAT series: SWAT3 and SWAT4 are kickass games!

HalfLife series: I liked HL1+Opposing Force a lot more than the sequel, but HL2 was ok too. :)

And here is a weird one, one of my favs is a platform game named Jazz Jackrabbit 2, the last 2D scrolling game for the PC as far as I know. It was released in 1998.

System Shock 2 is the best first person shooter game that the human race has ever been able to play, period.

Runestorm, Halo is a very cool game series around here. Covenant vs. Human. In Halo, they're enemies, not so much weapons and vehicles. In Halo 2, it was so kick a** that I played the story over and over again just to manipulate different moves to kill enemies with all weapons-By the way, the two sides unite in the last mission. Also, Halo 2 now lets you use some very cool vehicles (Sceptre, Wraith). Might have some good ideas for ballistics in the game.

UPDATE: SWEET I'M GETTING OBLIVION SOON! OH YEAH :D!

A little extra: If I get annoyed by turrets, I bash them off the cliff and watch the enemies weep. Everytime a enemy dies, I bash them unti blood splatters all over (If only I can get some images of that :).). Halo's graphics are so good I think they also can be graphic role models ( but, after all, Xbox and PS2 always seems to have the graphics of the century :P).

Metal Gear Solid, especially the latest one, MGS3: Subsistence. The game is overall amazing, the graphics are extremely realistic, IE The models actually look like real people, the gameplay is awesome, every weapon is an actual real life weapon, and the STORYLINE, DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE STORYLINE!! MGS is love. <3

Halo: Ah yes, who couldn't love this game. I have Halo 1 for the PC and Halo 2 for the XBOX, that I just got like two days ago.. and already beaten on normal. >b Yeah, Halo is definently revolutionary. Aside from the graphics, the gameplay is awesome. Tactics are definently required. IE, using Energy weapons to take down the enemy's shields by shorting them out, then using the battle rifle to snipe their face off. I love it. I can't wait to get highspeed and XBox Live.

Doom: A freaking classic. Just plain fun. Doom 3 was decent, but it lacked in ALOT of areas. Just didn't seem too realistic, and they kept using the same scare tactics throguhout the entire game. The multiplayer is decent, but it's way too closed-in... no sniping at all, it's a shame 'cause it could be so much better.

GTA: Mainly the new 3D ones for the PC. There's a mod out called Multi Theft Auto that allows online play for GTA3, GTAVC and GTASA which is pretty fun.

Those are currently the games I'm playing right now. As for other game series' I really like, I'll just list them.

The Ledgend of Zelda (Mainly A Link To The Past.)
Graal Online (A Link To The Past ripoff)
Super Smash Brothers (I WISH THERE WERE NET PLAY!!!)
SSX Snowboarding (Actually has a good bit of action in it.)
Dynasty Warriors (You can't handle the uber chinese ownage.)

And Final Fantasy, OCCASIONALLY. I'm not a big fan of RPGs, although FF can be fun at times.

Speaking of which, Civ 4 has a bit of a sense of power behind it. It's no action game but it's still pretty damn good.

Halo 2 skulls? Yeah I got a few of them. Most of them are deadly but some of them have good effects, like the one that gives Master Chief stealth camo instead of that lame flashlight. And the one that gives you explosive headshots, and also the one that blows the crap outta enemies when you rocket or nade them.

But my favorite find in that game would have to be...

THE SCARAB GUN!!!

Finally getting that thing was so damn hard, getting in the banshee right before it dissapeared during the "loading... done" process was a biznatch. BUT I GOT IT... and I love it... BFG TIMES INFINITY!!!
