id be carful semi auto sometimes for certain sniper rifles is les acurate than bolt action

Well that's the risk you take when you choose this over the UTC bolt sniper.

You know. . .I keep hearing people say that BW doesn't have a semi-auto sniper. What happened to the SRS9000? That thing works great as a semi-sniper.

The Battle Rifle is as it's name suggests runs along lines similar to Halo 2's BR, which in turn is a mini sniper.

This one Sarge has made is more akin to a full fleged sniper rifle, again look at the one in H2 - you can fire 4 times very quickly, though because you know the next round is already chambered, you may be more sloppy in your aim and miss, where a bolt-action user knows they don't have that luxury.

semi auto can sometime be less accurate than bolt opperated.not always though (barret light fifty) I dont realy think its the shooter who belives that if his gun autoloads he has more of a luxury of putting more rounds down range, because its like what i said before its all about shot placement, and most snipers are trained to take their time and make good shots onto their targets. In many cases the semi can be more accurate because you dont have to get you target back into your sights after every shot unlike the bolt action where you have to move you head slightly lift your arm lift the bolt handle pull it back push it forward then turn it downwards then get your target back.

I believe a bolt action would be better for this because of the story.

The SRS is cool but in my opinion I use it to put down hard hitting rounds onto my enemy, i dont take my time with it.

Also snipers are trained (like all members of the American armed forces) to aim for the center mass. so i should have said earlier, blow his lungs and heart all over the place. (or lung and hearts depending if its an alien or something)
