This thread is intended to be an compiled overview of particular weapon ideas of interest that were made right here in this forum.

These are the ideas that people seemed to like and got good responces so they must be on the ball.
It is free to be added onto by anyone here. Provide your name, your weapons name, its catagory, a quick description and a link to the weapons own thread.

Once your weapon idea is discussed and people think its cool, it can be added here.

There are a couple of reasons I think this thread will be useful:

1. You can see if someone has already discussed an idea like yours
2. You dont forget some of the great ideas of the past
3. You can see what are the most common weapon ideas and what people like
4. You can see what weapons BW needs more of.
5. You dont have to sift through all sorts of pages to revive an already existing idea.
6. To be inspirated by our best ideamakers and make more idea's of your own

Next time a weapon pack is due for both now and UT3 we can use this thread to look back at some of our best weapon concepts, lest we forget.

Yes your grenade launcher can be added in here.

I already looked through a number of forums pages and picked out a series of ideas as an example. I will set them up here so you can see what I mean. Stay tuned...

"-Skirth Rifle Alt fire Plasma Grenade: This is like the skirth energy grenade except you have to charge to maximum power maybe 4 to 6 seconds for it to be max power (can be discussed) It also drains alot of ammo from the Skirth rifle like 20 ammo, but its very powerful, this is to be the skirth equililent of the human (UTC) M50. This would also have an arc and a trail of dark blue effects from it before it eplodes on contact like the M50. If your right next to it when it explodes and leaves a big, bright and blu-ish explosion that skeletonizes nearby victims"

The above idea would be cool to reinvent since the devs won't change the current skirth rifle, plus the rifle is already awesome.

CYLO... almost forgot about that one. I think it'd probably be better with an AR rather than an SMG, because this just seems like too big of a gun to be a SMG, at least in my opinion.

First is an area denial mine using gravity to force players and vehicles around, second is a dumbfire sentry for suppressive fire, and last is a deployable artillery piece for fire support

Sorry I have been absent from my thread here guys,

RuneStorm has suddently become a banned site at campus! Since the campus PC's were my only access to runstorm this resulted in my sudden dissapearance. Not sure why they banned RS, theres no vile content on this site or anything is there? Just guys posting weapon ideas for a fictional game mod.

On that note, Bungie.com, beyondUnreal.com, Epic games forums and all game review sites have been banned also...all my favorite websites.

I will update the thread while im here although I will vanish again in a week. Nice to see you all anyway.

Ever try using a proxy site? I used those all the time in HS to bypass the school filters and access gaming sites. It got harder to find a reliable one as they kept blocking individual proxy sites as we found them, but there were so many that it was a futile effort on their part.

Here's an example of a proxy site

Type in the url for the blacklisted site and you should be good to go.

Look up PHProxy on Google to find more.

Ah yes I recall these being mentioned in Adv Web Class. But noone told me they could do that...(I wonder why)

One is a extreme high-caliber anti-vehicle rifle, only really useable when mounted. The other a selective fire shotgun, using either a 10 round clip or 20 round drum magazine with multiple firemodes and high rate of fire full-auto.
