Name: RX44B Multiple Chemical Thrower

Primary: Fires the selected chemical of choice. You have four options to choose from.

Napalm: Standard flames, enough to sear the flesh off of any soft target. Damage: Same as the standard flamethrower.

Liquid Nitrogen: Slows enemies down and maybe even freezes them entirely. When killed, the bodies don't go limp, they stay there until the fade in effect... Damage: 20

Sarin: Paralyzes enemies, their vision all distorted and vomit everywhere. Be wary of the backblast... Damage: 30

Fluorosulfuric Acid: Eats through metal like butter, melts through armor and corrodes the skin at an alarming rate. Damage: 40-50

Story: Flamethrowers were standard trench infiltrating devices during WW2, but was banned in most galaxies due to inhumane treatments, the flamethrower was swiftly buried along with other relics of WW2. However, since the krao swarms have been taking many casualties, the flamethrower was brought back with the RX22A and it's hot revival took the krao out by storm. Though many soldiers complained about the heavy weight and dangers of ruptured backpack tanks killing soldiers by random. UTC Defense Tech listened to them and upgraded with the RX44B, the latest innovation in portable weaponry. Gone are the heavy tanks and in are smaller, more manageable cylinders of chemicals. There are now four types to choose from; napalm, liquid nitrogen deadly nerve gas sarin, and the highly corrosive flurorsulfuric acid.

Ammo- 40 per cylinder, all types.


Death Messages:

Napalm:

Xan's legs turned into drumsticks by SX's mini-BBQ.

SX lit Xan's chest up like a midnight firework festival.

Xan was incinerated into a horror by SX's dragon breath.

Xan lost his face to SX's flamethrower.

Xan drank SX's napalm for breakfast.

SX made Xan see red and orange with a blast of napalm.


Liquid Nitrogen:

Xan's lungs froze by inhaling SX's blue mist.

SX made Xan into a moronic icicle.

Xan turned into ice cubes after SX turned him into a Popsicle.

Xan lost his ears and nose to SX's frostbite.

SX permanently froze Xan's face into a stupid look.

Xan's head was crushed by SX's ice-thrower.


Sarin

Xan collapsed in paralysis due to SX's green gas o'death.

SX filled Xan's lungs with Sarin and vomit.

Xan took a whiff of SX's gas and choked.

SX made Xan's pupils turn into pinholes.

Xan's ugly mug turned into a devil's macabre after SX unloaded his death fog.

SX gave Xan brain damage after shoving the chemical thrower into his ear.


Acid:

Xan turned into a skeleton by SX's acidic thrower.

Xan's legs turned into a pile of goop by SX's chemical gun.

SX turned Xan's arms into muscle puree.

Xan got a faceful of SX's acid cloud.

SX made Xan breathe in his acid barrel.

Xan's face was horribly disfigured by SX.



Suicide:

Xan refused to fight, so he sat in peace while burning to death. (Napalm)

Xan turned into a cross so that he could die for his sins. (Nitrogen)

Xan couldn't escape his own deadly nerve gas. (Sarin)

Xan committed hara kiri by turning into a goo pile. (Acid)

Finnaly some origianl idea! However I have some opinions:

a) Donno if I like another flamethrower.

b) Why is i always nitrogen? It could just be anything else at the same temperature.

c) Sarin gas could be more annoying than fun just like the HVC. But it's interresting to have the weakening effects. Vomiting should be cut out though.

d) Why no acid??! If we have a chem gun it must have acid! I want acid gun!

Liquid nitrogen is a chemical that freezes at a temperature of -321 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's the only thing I believe that can actually kill off a human.

And for the acid gun, maybe next idea...

Now this needs probably some alternate firemodes

I like the Idea of switching ammo because no BW weapons have that feature ...

O3 would be better... would suffocate any survivors... anyhoo I agree with Kien, there must be acid in such a device...

No, that's what our Ozone layer is made of (hence the name Ozone)

on second thought, any supercooled element would do the trick (assuming that it is in a liquid state)

Mercury. For the poison.

Fluorosulfuric acid is WAAAAY stronger than mercury, Mercury only poisons, Flouorosulfuric acid is a strong acid, eating and corroding through metal (And if you're wondering how the gun survives, it has a special metal base that counteracts the acid) so naturally, Fluorosulfuric acid is my first choice.

How about something similar to a mini-gun in looks... six barrels with six different acids/poisons/super cooled stuff to create a deadly cocktail... which would match the name of the thread
