Looks like it's some form of the CYLO, but definitly not from the Dipheox series.

Looks to me like a higher quality version, one that the better paid military forces would use, as opposed to mine which would be used by the less wealthy groups. I like.

Also I note you implemented that idea I mentioned with the side mounted clip. I like it. Nice.

Im working on a smaller more compact and less messy version that will include the mechanics for it too.

perhaps a little "blocky" for my tastes, but it does give it a more unique look the blade part looks neat btw.. a definite simple weapon though

Yeah, it is blocky, but as Rayne said, makes it look like it was designed to get rushed out of the factory as quickly as possible.

I think the bayonet is silly but thats just my opinion.
but i guess im not a bayonet kinda guy. who knows maybe it will look cool with it in game.

@Sargeant Smash It looks kind a heavy. I would make the barrels stick out less of the main gun body

I took out the ability to thrust with this bayonet, there were too many things that just didn't make sense.

First off, with a shotgun for the lower barrel, could prove to have nasty effects if it starts to spread too early. Of course this could always be fixed by tightening the choke.

Second; its just too damn short of a blade, and could never really be longer becuase of reason number one. With this short of a blade you'd be pretty much geting blood directly in the barrel, which is not a good thing.


So its just a slashing bayonet.

ack...its changed...i liked version 2...and to explain the mag being so far back it has a magnetic feed and the shell casings arent basic brass but brass infused with magnetic materials that are made to specifically respond to the alternative feed mechanism, pulls it forward into the path of the bolt. and thats your SciFi explanation folks

im all for realism but weve done that enough...and um...we have portable railguns that have immense power, not to mention frickin aliens with laser guns!

The only change from version 2 and 3 is clip placement...

I'm not going for realism for this gun, I just want it to make a bit of sense...

What's wrong with the current clip arrangement?
I just put the AR clip in at an angle so theres room for the firing mechanism and stuff, also, the cartridge goes pretty much straight in without having some overly complicated system to it.

It's more streamlined and economical this way. While the magnetic casings sound cool, it sounds too expensive for this gun, which is marketed as pretty much a fairly economical all-in-one gun (of course its not really good as an all-around gun, its just advertised that way, although it is pretty versatile ).

What exactly do you like about it? I can incorporate those things into my latest render of it, just work it in there and see how things looks and/or work.

How bout put spikes on the bayo for attaching the bayo to the victim

Maybe the blade releases from the gun, then you lose the ability to use the bayonet attack, but you'd say maybe it wouldn't have as much weapons chaos.

The blade couldn't really release from the gun, as two of the attachment points are at right angles to each other, the blade doesn't come out easily, it's pretty much a permanently attached thing.

Also, in reality removing the bayonet would add more chaos.
It'd be lighter and have more of an affect when it kicks.

unremovable? you could use it like a seperate melle weapon if you made it seperate.

That would be cool. You stab the guy, then the guy pulls it out and has a deadly meele weapon with him (way deadlier than any current BW meele, so that it makes sense to run around like a maniac with it.
