I guess by making it an expansion pack of sorts you wouldn't have to worry about guns not jiving with the Archon universe. You could just go crazy and add whatever looks cool. So yeah, sounds good...

But it would be nice if you could itemize (cycle) the official and bonus weapons both together and separately.

Starwars is all silliness. And It's not even Sci-Fi. It's fantasy in a Sci-Fi setting.

Anyhow, I fully support furthering the simple weapons concept. Not that there's much choice. There's no reason why the team shouldn't use the code that they've already developed if the weapon their working on needs it. I just don't want to see the simple weapons keep the team from developing weapons that may need new code, if the weapon is something that BW should have.

I'd like it if it was included in BW than we could use them against the other guns, which is what i was hoping for when i started thinking about these guns.

You can do that with WoRM even if it was a seperate pack.

yeah but their are problems with worm and BW. just add the simple weapons in a patch before or after v2.0. Then everyone will get them. Just add the weapons to everything cause i really want to use them in loadout and no i'm sure you can't use wOrM with loadout.

There is a minor problem with WoRM, very very minor.
The ammo calculations are messed up for the pistol, that's all I have noticed to be any unusual bug.

It shouldn't be difficult at all to have 3 main item groups for the BW weapon cycler thingy: classic BW, bonus weapons, and mixed.

Man that new mod could for all we know (except Bjossi cause he knows) could be a cat throwing mod where you have to throw cats at eachother. And the black cats have extra damage and can fly (since they like witches).

The nifty thing about the Jackhammer is that the ammo drum can be rigged as a directional mine that fires off the remaining ammo in one direction.

I forget the name of the design, but a new combat auto-shotgun was being shopped to US forces that included the ability to shoot light frag grenade shells. Saw it in a magazine.

There a few auto-shotguns that look similar to classic Benelli/Mossberg shotgun designs, and a line of Russian clip-fed shotguns called Saigas that are automatic and semi-automatic. The Saiga models sorta look like submachine guns.

A double barreled break open, sawed-off 10 gauge shotgun would be kinda cool for the bonus pack. Slow to reload but extremely powerful at close range.

Or alternatively a compact stainless pump action shotgun, like this one. Also preferably in 10 gauge, to balance it against the other shotguns.

I like both of these...that sawn-off shotgun would work extremely well for close range fights...if it has a nice wide-angle but short range, you could have some serious gore on your hands I'll post another idea...

But, I'm sure we're supposed to be talking about certain assault rifles here...

Yeah i loved using the AK-74 in Battlefield 2 it just felt so awesome and mighty plus it made a large clip which helped

Overall I like rapid fire weapons the most, or very powerful single fire weapons like Magnums.

I think we share common interests Bjossi.

But part of me loves the old guns from WWII too much. *sigh*

Guns like the ones in Wolfenstein perhaps? I love all of them, especially the Thompson.

Yeah guess your right, at the start it was good for feature requests but now its good for weapon talking.

I haven't had the pleasure of playing Wolfenstein, but i have played CoD. CoD 2 and now i just bought Day of Defeat: Source . IN DoD:S the thompson feels powerful and veristaile. really fun gun. but i love WWII bolt-action rifles. their so awesome.
