First post and I love this mod! I sing the prasies of the Shot pistol known to our lan group as the bop gun. All the ballistic weps are fun and deadly but nothing causes fear like the distinctive sound of this nasty peice of work going off near you. This is one of the best weapons for that gent with the flag on the run anybody that jumps in front of you just goes away. Granted it's range is waayyyyy short but it is easy to jump about and still deliver a killing blow with this nasth weapon. Reload is quick, and even a grazing blast will get your targets attention. Close in nastyiness. Hit em with the bop gun

Bop gun is a weird name, but I like how you describe the sound effect. A weapon that is the role model for gun firing sounds, is the pulse rifle from HL2.

Th name comes from an old funk group called Parliment. They have a song called "Bop Gun" The Lan group picked it up from me shouting BOP! into the mike when I did someone in with the shotpistol. 8)

Yeah same here, i think most of us are more intertested in learning how the animations for reloading and cocking when dual wielding will look like.

Wait a second, Me gots an ideer. . .the cocking bolt on the "bop guns" is hooked, so if you were holding two of them, you could hook both of the cocking handles against each other and pull them apart.

. . .but it would be a pain to animate, and would only work with two "bop guns", so nevermind.

dual weilding requires NO extra anims.. well not really :)

but a bit of unreal ed work and some anim duplicating... not too bad though..

Okay, I think I understand how you're going to do it then. . .

When reloading dual weapons, you put away weapon #1, reload weapon #2, then put away #2, take out #1, reload it, and then take #2 back out.

Am I right? Or close? That sounds like the way to do it without doing extra anims.

That is also the way it is done in real life. When dual firing a .45 you,

Eject both clips.
Secure your off hand weapon
Load your primary hand weapon cock slide back then secure it.
Repeat above step with off hand weapon.
Draw primary hand weapons and engage the slide on both.
Wail away. 8)

Folks who do this in competetion can do all the above operations in lees than four seconds. It takes longer with a wheel gun of course.

Yeah. . .but they said they were gonna do it without any extra animations, and several disearms have 2-handed mag-ejection animations, so I think they'll do it how I said.
