Why does everyone hate Gen Mo kai?
Oh, I remember, because they're weak, skinny but awfully quick bastards that allmost allways find a way of escaping your blades and gunfire, that's why!

i’m not sure this will really fit good in BW but i’ll give it a try. personally i think this one is a weird one, but fun. a thin eclectic wire that zaps people and vehicles, first you must place a small station on a wall / tree and then a other one on a other wall / tree, but with a limited range from each other, with the wire between them. only one zap and it is discharged and unusable, and an instant kill for people with < 125 heath, and it zaps right through armor. so... what do you think?.... |

This could be a pretty interesting strategy weapon for ONS. But to affect vehicles you'll need one powerful eletric charge. |

well it isn't something to bust a vehicle in one zap, but in reality it would zap the driver dead and damage the vehicles electric wiring (that will get a vehicle smoking gna gna) |

could work. would be great just to see a hellbender just driving along, bursts of electicitity zap all around it, then it continues to roll untill it stops dead. Fried Gen Moi Kai anyone? |

I accaulty love the Gen Moi Kai (not love love but you know what i mean) the models are really cool and their the most different aliens, i find the Skaarj look too human. |

Yeah, just hide in a pass or something, then when it gets hit hijack the vehicle. Also i had an idea, why not make the a small cylinder that if attached to walls does what MMM said, but it planted on the ground, they then deploy a small tower from the top which then finds another tower (or just a cylinder on a wall) and connects making the electricity pass through the two, and if a vehicles passes between them, BOOM, they get fried! |

I like Ugly's idea. I can just imagine making giant electrical fields for the bots to run into. 
Remember the force fields from Unreal 2? They worked just like that. |

I like. Sorta. Could bee too time-consuming to set up for a one-time-use thing that doeends on someone running through a wire/beam it to be of actual use. Why not just have it be some kind of skrith mine that electrocutes anyone that comes within 10 feet of it? and, of course, kills the driver/occupants of any vehicle it hits. And, to balance it's greater area of effect vs. the regular mines, have a very low limit of them you can carry. |

definately in support of the wire idea, to comment on the last though about it being time consuming, how about after a discharge you can bring over some kind of battery to one of the towers/cylindars and its good to go again. great great idea |

A battery? And where do you get the battery? All you're doing is condemning a player to endless running back and fort between ammo pickups to get batteries and wherever he set up the fence. When that player could instead be out killing stuffs. Onslaught-type games can't be won on defense. In original UT2K4, the spider mines were a great defensive thing because you could just lob a few about while you were leaving your spawn point and not have to worry anymore. In BW, we have the mines, which are a decent substitute,though they obviously can't saturate an area as well as spider mines, since they don't get up and chase things. So I think this idea needs to be reworked into something that requies less attention and involvement from the player using it, and is less luck-dependent than what id for all practical purposes a laser tripmine. Tripmines just aren't practical in onslaught. |

I think this should instead be made into an idea where you can form a forcefield-fence. And if you make a too long fence, there is not enough power for it so the whole fence will be deactivated. |

Using energy fences would be kinda a rip from the XMP games, but what about some kind of little thing you throw on the ground that projects the Paladin Tank's forcefield, or something similar? |
