Hi, I like the alien guns but two is not a good number 
I thought of a heavy alien gun with minigun-like firerate and a overload function as alternative fire. So if you press the second fire key the gun will charge but explode if you charge it too long. The charged shot should be like the shock rifile combo from the ordinary ut2004 but with a variable damage amount. So as closer you get to the overload limit as stronger and larger should the shot be. Greets Adrastos |

Hmm you mean like the chaingun ( the one with the 50 bullet clips ) ? Its a good idea but it looks like a combination between the newly relaesed lightning gun and the chainguns . |

newly relaesed lightning gun? Hm... haven't heared about it yet. But yes, something like a chaingun with three rotating barrels, low accuracy but much ammo. Should be more a support weapon for holding enemies back than an assault gun. |

Yeah, something like this was my idea for the second fire mode, but more like a big ball, like the ball from the BFG (big fat gun) in Doom. |

yes we do need a heavy skrith gun...and if anyone remembers the the doom movie there is homage to the big f***ing gun, when the rock states the phrase as he picks it up...come to think of it a bfg would be very fun to have, or maybey something similar to the super weapons from the turok series? |

I would crap myself if the Nuke or anything similar showed up in BW2.0. Or the Fusion Cannon, Chronoscepter, or P.S.G. Turok is awesome. And DAMN is that lightning gun sweet!! I spent nearly an hour straight yesterday frying the same bot in Idoma over and over and over and over... |

Actually, the previous concencus was that a skrith heavy machine gun should have a LOW firerate compared to the other Machine-guns. And for those of you who may use a different defenition of machine gun than me, I'm talking about the belt-fed weapons. Assault rifles are NOT machine guns. Neither are sub-machine guns. Anyhow, yes. Heavy skrith weapon = good. But with low firerate, high damage per shot, and a hint of splash damage. |

Hm,... human energy chaingun. Well, I think this will break the idea behind the BW mod. In my opinion human weapons are based on procetiles and alien weapons on energy. Two different ways of arms evolution. Back to the alien version. Low firerate but strong shots and low recoil, sounds nice. And the alternate fire should be this big f***ing bio-whatever thing. |

What would you call the railgun then? Sure it fires a projectile but at much higher velocity than the other guns, but it still looks and acts like an energy weapon. I'd love to see an energy chaingun, humans would do that better than the Skrith I think. Especially if the designer is an artist.

I can see one difference on how humans and Skrith would do an energy minigun. Humans: Very tiny projectiles that hold a powerful electric charge so they look a lot like EMPs, very thin (a couple of millimeters) but decently long like 2 or 3 centimeters and have a mix of a blue/pink-ish color. Skrith: I can see for myself a pretty weird looking minigun that fires bigger energy pulses that travel slower but do much more damage each. |

The Plasma Rifle from Perfect Dark Zero shot powerful explosive balls of plasma at a rate of about 2/second, I think that would be a great base for a heavy Skrith gun. Just color it blue and add several blades to the edges, and replace the cheap (IMO) cloaking device secondary with a huge charge shot that fries people as it passes. Side Note: SB, when will we see what a Skrith looks like? |

Some people havn't got the lightning gun? OMG, you gotta get the lightning gun! Ask anyone who has it... you'll want it. Bio-force gun, yeah right! I remember the good ol' doom days when the doom 1 and 2 were around. Everyone knew it was the Big F**king Gun! Even in the Q2 manual, they indicated its real name. Typical crap movies from games befouling the good classics... |
