Post subject:  C.W.I.© - Optional Firearms (6.1)

Some weapons I thought of at the spur of the moment. As far be it for me to say... they aren't really crazy and/or tactical in nature. They're just there to (maybe) up the BW arsenal a notch, so don't criticize me for being too unoriginal/unrealistic (in terms of how a gun is supposed to be made according to spec and physics). Just n'joy.

DESCRIPTION:
An Anti-Riot Dispersion Cannon. Best used for dispatching groups of people.

Primary Fire:
A chargable shockwave that completely bypasses armor and ruptures muscles and other vital organs, resulting in internal bleeding. The longer it is charged, the higher its chaos and inaccuracy rate gets, making it effective only in close to mid-range combat. It also emits a low, bassy boom when fired, which can go unnoticed by people in the heat of a battle.

Damage: 50-100, depending on its charge rate.

Secondary Fire:
Fires Magnesium slugs which explode on-impact, causing blindness to anyone near the explosion. Any poor soul who gets hit by the slug is burned to a certain degree, though it is not fatal.

Damage: 5 per-second scorch-damage to players who get hit by the slug.

DESCRIPTION:
"Calamity Jane" - A Handcannon-Magnum hybrid. Requires the use of both arms, so it cannot be dual-wielded/akimbo'ed.

Primary Fire:
Fires a .50-caliber cartridge from a revolver-type, 4-bullet chamber. Devastating damage, but has such low velocity that it is semi-hitscan. Best for short-ranged combat due to its tremendous chaos.

Damage: 50-75, depends on which body-part is hit.

Secondary Fire:
Fires a .44-caliber, hollow-point round from a 7-bullet magazine into a semi-auto chamber. High damage. Best for mid-ranged combat.

Damage: 30-50, depends on which body-part is hit.

SPECIAL FIRE:
Fits the gun with a stabilizer and analog scope (has only two types of magnification which can't be adjusted), significantly decreasing its inaccuracy rate at the expense of movement speed.

Fire Modes:
Switches between the two scope-magnifications.

DESCRIPTION:
Artificial Skrith Claws, used for crawling on walls and ceilings, ambushing unsuspecting prey, and dealing fast claw-swipe attacks.

Primary Fire:
Rapid slashes that can damage more than one enemy when they're close together.

Damage: 8-10 per swipe, 6 swipes per second.

Secondary Fire:
Prepared strike.

Damage: 10-15

SPECIAL FIRE:
Throws a poisoned needle at enemies. Can be picked up again after use.

Damage: 5 per second.

SPECIAL ABILITY:
Holding crouch while near a wall or ceiling will make you scale the surface.

DESCRIPTION:
"Jihadi Kris" - literally translated as "The Sword of A Holy Warrior"... a blade wielded by soldiers with strong faith and dedication to a higher being. Almost the equivalent of the Katana, save for being heavier and able to cut deeper and more fatal wounds.

Primary Fire:
Slashes that can damage more than one enemy when they're close together.

Damage: Stronger and slower than a Katana

Secondary Fire:
Prepared strike.

Damage: 25-50

SPECIAL FIRE:
Blocks other melee weapons.

i do like the big hand gun, but we need a good sidearm caring amination to bring it up to par.

i could see a disposeable Light wheight Anti tank Weapon being added in BW as a desposeable weapon but not these crazy handgun things

I think i might be missreading the expendables part though

I know, I know... But I'd rather see a Hi-Tech-looking shotgun rather than some cheezy 3-barrel Elephant Gun.

Well... I called them "expendable" 'coz I'm willing to let RS just overlook them without consideration. They are, for the sake of definition, unoriginal after all.

But it's kinda ridiculous, given that a certain Final Fantasy character who stars in his very own crappy game already has a customizable triple-barreled firearm called, "Cerberus"... It just gives me painful memories... Memories that will haunt me forever... >__<

I'm also thinking about a new Skrith melee weapon involving claws... which they can use to crawl on surfaces (like walls and ceilings) and put the drop on unsuspecting prey...

I like the ideas, though I think the damage values are a bit high.

Also, making a pistol that is a handcannon AND a magnum sounds a bit Uber. Maybe replace the magnum secondary with a single-shot shotgun.

I like the idea of the shotgun secondary fire. That was actually used by some officers in the American Civil War, well, something similar, at least.

P.S. Don't worry about 'if', Bjossi, its gonna get made, but probably after 2.0... ;)

hey.. i do like the Skrith claws idea.. it's just really complicated to code.. definetly would make things very cool.. good work :)

Yes. A Kris is an actual weapon.

Jihad is also an actual name that means, "The Holy War". Therefore, anyone called a "Jihadi" is someone who partakes in these kinds of battles.

"Jihadi Kris" is just a name I came up with for the weapon. It's not actually some legendary weapon (if that's what you're thinking). The most similar thing I can think of for an actual Kris used in the Holy War is a Moro Kris.

I had a feeling it wasn't a legendary weapon or anything, just wondered if it was your own idea or not. :)

I like the name, I knew what Kris meant, but I forgot what Jihad meant. %-6
