Shockwave cannon

A weapon that does no damage to enemies, but flanks them and sends them fliyng away from you.

It would be a big, bulky cannon that creates a visual shockwave effect that pushes vehicles and player very powerfully and far away. This is great when youre cornered, facing a vehicle, surprising an enemy.

A leafblower!

does the same thing like I suggested but with rapid blowing and not a one-time-kick-off.
Secondaryfire could suck in players and inflict massive anal damage. (jk)

Yet another sound wave-esque cannon.

This could be pretty cool, though. Its different than most of the other similar weapons.

Except sound waves don't have molecular weight.

Now, this idea can be tough to get right. Fx, finding a way to send a kick to an object without damaging it would be difficult, because when "kick energy"'s waves are visible, it means that even a Levi would go to pieces...

You have a point, when the shock wave from say an atom bomb goes off, the winds that proceed it are strong enough to destroy a house. You will be hard pressed to stand and throw that kind of force without fling off in the opposite direction.

Reminds me of the bungie castle mod for quake 3, all the weapons did no damage but had hightend knockback, the objective was to knock your foes off into an abess

The visual shockwave effect that comes out of the cannon is only to make it look cool. prolly.

what stops the user from being blasted violently backward? "every action has an equal and opposite reaction"

That is if you supose that BW needs to follow fysics
It could be incorprated with a barrel that takes the punch of the knockback ( by placying it on a sled ) but than again it would be more fun to have at least some backwards effect

About that leafblower that would be somthing thats suited beter for JW ( Unless it would be desined to look mylitary( already got me an idea)

By using opposing force, kind of like a force that reduces the kick, but the kick from that force would just generate a new one.

yup...infinant energy, ah well i like the idea, tough to fit into bw...but its neat, as a side note BW does at the moment follow physics pretty well, especially if you take off someones head with a headshot, the body falls very nicely...or goes flying if you hit with a close shotgun blast, whichever you prefer

Sounds pretty similar to the shield gun, except the range is longer and there's no damage...which means just a little tweak to shield gun would do it.

No it wouldn't, would the Magnum be as fun if it was just a modified version of the default AR?
