for one a charged strike of a melee weapon could disable them (were a normal one makes them blow up up) in addtion a "Deadnate all placed charges" opption would be nice or make a more powerful time based (30 second timer) version (TNT) that can be disabled by any melee strike however if it does go it only takes 1 to blow a levi, the player would spawn with 1/2 and carry a max of 4 (this would only get set off by a timer nothing else) in addtion id like to see and AK- assault rifle a flamethrower a mode for the RL were it doesn't need to zoom in to lock on but needs to be held on a target for a bit to aquire a lock, a blow torch/wrench as a melee weapon that can speed up contrution/repair stuff but is somewhat week as a weapon,a deployable turret (thats like a classic TF turret but can be used manualy via direct control or remote) a syringe that can heal teamates and inject enenmys with a toxin (Damage over time and worsened vission as effects ofthe toxin) Akibo weapons at very decreased accuracy and hightend recoil and howabout items for the loadout mutator (IE speed loaders laser sights scopes armor and posbliy some car jacking tools to steal enenmy vechile) this could add some intresting things to the game think about it you jump out of the AirPower 4 dropship (or whatever of the many dropships that exsit for the game) and land near the opposeing levi so you take out your lockpicks and start gaining acceses to the opposeing vechile that brings me to another point parachutes as an opption for the mutator, they open and save you from falls over a cirten distance (about 1.7 times the damage from falls) this could allow players to take say the helix and jump out from a high hight and bomb the foe Post edited by: Deuxhero, at: 2006/04/28 18:03 |

interesting ideas.. AK and Flamethrower are on the weapon list for the future.. flamethrower more so tho.. and our vehicles, or chopper, will probably have some sorta para type arangenmen;) hijacking?? sounds pretty cool.. |

if this thread is speaking of the Stachal charge (namely the bombs that can be trip-detonated or remote detonated, than i'd like to say that it would be cool if you could sneek up to a huge Tank place some of them on it than run away than remote detonate the darn thing to kingdom come!!:pinch: |

uhhh, you can place bombs on vehicles and detonate them later... Something crazy we sometimes do is coat the underneath of a raptor with bombs, then fly it into the enemy node and have someone remote detonate them at the right time... Needs teamwork! There is a detoante all button! Press 'reload'... We want our chopper to have real quick zip lines for getting down and up! Yeah weapon attached items would be nice... We might add that later, it was a semi implemented feature before v1.0, but we didn't have enough time then... |

yes but weres the fun of airborn infintry and the conpatablity with other mutators (how often was that mentioned) and what if your Choppers going down I'm pretty sure 80% of the people here at least get out of there vechile when its damaged? |

and for the other 15% you get to go splat and for the last 5% they download the ejection mutator and don't have to worry about it! |

Personally, I think these are already the best and most useful satchel charges I've ever seen in a game. Lazer tripwires, where you can change the lazer direction, no less, remote detonation, swapping between the two, able to both be thrown AND attached to stuff. . .these are great. I've got nothing more I want from them. |

guess it makes sense to have that since the mines know not to explode you so the triplaser should know as well! |

I'd agree to that. But that's about the only complaint I can make about them. Pretty darn perfect otherwise. |
