If anyone played Half Life 2, they know the manhacks. I called them flying can openers.
The manhacks are those small flying robots with sharp razors, annoying in large groups

Now the idea for Ballistic Weapons is that there is a weapon that can launch these flying hazards, they don't explode (unless you shoot them) but when they hit you, they bounce back and yu get damage. Example:
You see someone at medium distance of you, you launch 4 of those Razor-Droids and they fly to the enemy and chop him down Unless he shoots them down with a well placed shot, the droids should be fast, agile and small, so hard to hit.

So like a flying spider mine
Maybe when they hit a wall or player the droids get little damage too, and a lifetime, so they explode in time. Or just no lifetime so they just fly around constantly. Just Xpawns that follow navigationpoints and attack everyone except the weapon owner.

Well maybe you could launch something of a protector/offense droid that either circles around you and helps you by shooting enemies, or will just fly off and attack anything except you. maybe give it a small chaingun that peppers the foe with weak (though constant) stream of bullets when defending you, and on offense it shoots mini rpg's or maybe it has something similar to the manhacks blade. Like pressing prim fire would shoot it on Offense, press alt fire would make the launched droid go Defensive, and either the special function or weapons fire mode could make any of the launched driods go from defensive to offensive.

Or maybe Prim (or alt) fire shoots the droids like a mini explosive, which is costly, but effective none the less, and Alt (or prim) fire would launch the driods into auto offensive mode if no one is around, and into defensive mode if their are guys attacking?around you. Special function or the Weapons Fire mode key would manually change them into the mode you want either defense or offense.

I thought that there ws already some mod that included those manhack things ( or at least something like it ) Ill have to look around for it.

Defensive mode and Offensive mode. Heh.
Primairy fire launches a droid into the air.
Secondairy fire - you shoot a seeker on an enemy or floor (if it hits an enemy it hurts) And the droids will go to it.
Special fire - Makes them go from Offensive to Defensive mode.
Offense mode = Fly around, hunt down some people for me
Defense mode = Fly around you and catch the bullets.
