I was wondering do the skrith actually have their own heavy weaponry ?
Instead of using the crao and so on.

I am asking this because the only skrith weapons we have seen so far are their pistol the rifle and their wrist blades .
Haven't they got something compareble to a shotgun or machinegun?
That would make acording to me a great addition to their arsenal
imagine a chaingun in skrith style with a blade fitted to its barrel
or a shotgun with a axe like blade underneath .

For the secundary attack you could swing the shotgun as a battle axe or something.

I'd say the rifle would be their heavy weapon. It does some nasty damage.

i see what he means here the rifle does have a very light feel and if the skrith ever were to face massive ammounts of humans then they would want something that they could mow them down with. after all a 1/3 of a platoon's firepower is in their machine gunner

I've got an idea for Skrith heavy weapon.

A tri-barreled minigun that shoots skirth energy stuff.

First off, the Skrith rifle already can mow down the hordes. Second off, I like that drawing Bulska, looks like it has potential.

Looks to blocky to be skrith, though. Their stuff is more curvy.

yeah, the one thing i can think of is a skirth energy rifle that has condensed coils in it that make the projectile denser, almost like a bullet, though it burns through armor easily, same with flesh. It'd be more or less of a sniper rifle i think.

I also think that we need a skirth bomb or grenade. something that just explodes with the skirth rifle projectiles.

I mean the rate of fire from the skrith rifle is good but i have the feeling that the dammage it does is a litlle low

Perhaps be a version with higher damage (like UP's denser energy projectile idea maybey combined with the tri barreld minigun? )

I used some of the things bulska used in his painting and used a more curvy design. A little bit skrith looking gun

Looks pretty cool.

But actually, Ruex, the damage is pretty high for the rifle. I use it in places where you'd normally use a heavy machine gun and have the same results. Only thing that limits it would be its small clip size for its rate of fire. Thats why you control your fire and concentrate it on the enemies' heads.

I like the condenser coil idea, UP, sounds pretty cool and makes almost a bit of sense.

The problem with the skrith rifle is that it sounds too light. Maybe they sound realistic, but they sound weaker than pistols.

That is hard to overcome because of UT2004's horrific audio engine.

I'd say have two more thinks fopr the Skrith.

1. Grenades that Stick (Sticky Grenades) - unfortunately people would instantly think of Halo when using these, but the Skrith might have their own grenades for all we know.

2. Skrith Sniper - I have an idea for this \/

Sounds good, but what sort of a projectile would it shoot? A very dense & highly charged skrith energy projectile?

I guess it could use the A42's charged shot for the charged version and the A73's primary for the normal shots. Of course the charged version would have the A73's primary fire in front of the beam, but it goes very fast and is hard to see the tip of the projectile. Never an insta-hit weapon I guess you can say.

Hmm. . .I'm pretty interested in coming up with a non-halo skrith grenade. . .Possibly a cluster explosive.

I know a cool projectile for the skirth sniper rifle. An energy bolt. Sort of the carbine in Halo 2 but changed alot. So different look and a scope

That grenade looks ok but needs more "bang" to it, if you know what I mean.

Added some gore muhaahaha And explosions, explosion marks and fixed the grenade a little

By more bang I was meaning improving the look of the grenade, make it look more powerful.
But a nice explosion is always welcome too.

I somehow doubt the Skirth would use grenades. The only other i see using them would be the Cryon.

Good point, but what if skrith grenades have a "quiet" explosion?
