Just throwing this out there, FlashBang nades would be really sweet.

The effects would be similar to the light on the assault pistol, but the screen would be white for a few seconds before it begins to fade. And even then the effects would last longer, seeing as it's a nade specifically for stunning.

The CS:Source Flashbang would be better, but BW has so many blinding weapons already...

I'm unable to see the point of a flashbang in a deathmatch game.

I think it would have a more practical application in a realisim mod or, maybe, CTF. With the gameing style of UT, I forsee more people getting upset with disrupting the gameply than people who like the idea, but I could be wrong.

Eh, I would suppose that one could combine flashbang/emp/smoke to make a blinding anti vehicle grenade that leaves a big cloud of smoke. Maybe stun vehicles instead of damage.
