ok i was thinking also, a small, light, dual wieldable SMG like the Halo 2 SMG

in early testing the Light Y750 SMG by (Company) is a favourable SMG capable of depleting 30 rounds in under 15 seconds, also with revolutionary Technology to help minimalize Recoil, it is good for dual wielding, in early testing the Y750 SMG was Given to Soldiers fighting the skrith, the 6mm depleted uranium Rounds Penetrated the skrith armour, but only just, taking several rounds to kill 2 Skrith per clip, it is an ideal secondary weapon for those Tough times with out Primary Gun Ammunition, Tho while dual wielding you cannot smash your enemys with the secondary Fire...

Sounds like the XRS in the XK2's body. And I like the idea of a blunt melee attack, although it should still be enabled when dual wielding, to compete with the Fifty-9's double-slash attack.

The SMGs in Halo 2 sucked so badly as a start weapon, mainly because head shots did absolutely no extra damage. Seeing one in BW with an extremely high rate of fire would be really sweet >:3

Aside from melee attack, could you clarify how this would differ from the sub-machine gun already implamented in BW?

it would be faster, lighter, better recoil than the others, Generally, Be a bit better firing wise than the the others
