Description: The Deadly Flutter is a sort of Butterfly Knife, the only difference being it's size - almost 3 feet in length while concealed and double while drawn. Not as deadly as the Enravion Katana, but it is lighter and easier to handle with one hand, capable of dealing fast thrusts and powerful blows. Prime: Wielder attacks with Deadly Flutter depending on its state. When the blade is concealed, the wielder deals slow, powerful blows using the knife's handles. When the blade is drawn, the wielder deals fast, lunging thrusts. Second: Wielder attacks with Deadly Flutter, but changes states after each attack. This mix-up creates many elegant strokes that pummel opponents senseless until they're dead. Fire-Mode: (Blade Drawn/Blade Concealed) Switches the Deadly Flutter's state without attacking. When the key is held, the wielder does an exhibition until the key is released, triggering the state-switch. Special: Depending on the state of the Deadly Flutter, its wielder can either block (concealed state) or prepare an attack (drawn state). EDIT: Oops! Wrong thread-topic!!! Please move. |

Why do you want the ability to conceal it? |

Perhaps to give the enemy some sort of surprise. The illusion of being disarmed. For that to work you need FISTS, or else having no weapon obviously means you got a flutter. |

That is pointless considering you can't surprise the enemy, his goal is to kill any enemy teams in sight. |

The idea behind the weapon is to have a variety of blows from its different states. When the blade is concealed, the only way you can attack is by beating your opponent with the blunt, metal handles of the Butterfly Knife. |

I think just the idea of a 6 foot butterfly knife is enough.
I'd just like to see someone try to pull of tricks with it. |

It's very possible... If you're really skilled, you can even Nunchuck it! There's even a real life version of it... At first I thought it was a [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C5%8D]JÃ…Â |

I was thinking in terms of threat responce. Would you pay more attention to the guy running around swinging his fists? Or the guy with the flamethrower? But never mind. The original poster revealed it is to provide additional attack capabilities, not deciept. |

I'd fire a M50 grenade near both, damaging both and maybe killing one of them. |

Not when both blade and handle are of equal proportions, it ain't. |

Is that a reference to Scorpion (LOVE MK)? Nevermind... Anyways, the weapon is interesting, except for the fact that its 3 ft. Is it like a short blade? Oops, it's 6 ft. I'm visualizing it as a retractable claymore, not a lightweight weapon. |

Intreguiging. It would defintly be a weapon I would use. And considering I could be faster then most people with it, It would be perfect for ambushing people. >:3 |

I also get the impression that the Butterfly Knife Idea came from Kano's weapon in Deadly Alliance...... Well, anyways,I like this Idea , but if it's six feet tall, and proportioned equally with the handle...... wouldn't that mean would need gigantic hands?!

If it makes any difference, it's as slim as a katana. |

Well, if the handle isent to thick, you can handle it. But I think its abit to long, I would perfer it to be around 3 foot pole, and 2 foot blades. |
