I'm not sure if this is really thread-worthy, but why do the grenades and FP9s behave so strangely in flight or while bouncing or sliding off things? Their flights aren't smooth, but rather stuttery, unlike other grenade-style weapons in UT. It's kind of jarring and makes it harder to predict their flight paths. Why is this? |

You seem to mostly play online, did you try to see if this is also present in Instant Action? |

Ah, it only appears in online games it seems. Just tried it in a botmatch and it was much better. I wonder why it's different online though. Everything else is silky smooth. |

My guess is that this has something to do with UT2004's netcode, but only DC can answer this question with good accuracy. |

Probably offtopic, but why does the throw distance meter fill so slow?! It would be great if it was configurable, I'd rather have the 100% fill time set to 2 secs, 'cause I've got quick reaction. Also an alt fire function which INSTANTLY tosses the grenade at the maximum distance or a distance configurable by the player would be welcome IMO. |

Uh... there is a feature to let you toss the 'nades at maximum distance... or toss them a short distance... Check the switch fire modes with grenades. |

I think the problem lies in that the grenades make really good use of the karma physics engine. Way more so than almost anything else I've seen in the U2 engine. And karma has crappy netcode. |
