It was a mod for UT99, I think maybe Weapons Factory, in which the demolitionist had a laser tripmine. What was cool about this tripmine was that it differentiated between friend and foe, and would only blow up accordingly. Will the FP9A5 ever have such a feature? Just wondering. |

seems like a neat idea to have and if implimented it wouldn't be optional! |

Just wondering. oh man. i hate it when my own team blows my tripmines... once it even killed me since they tripped it while i was still setting up more mines on the walls.. i should have just put mines on the walls without the laser on, walk away, then activate them... |

I don't think many would want it off very often anyway. That would be awesome to leave on your vehicle! If some one hijacks it they hear the car alarm beep and "Hijacked!" message just as they blow up. :lol: :evil: I think that'd be good for landmines too; it's futuristic, why not? |

You know what I mean- on top, bottom, side, underneath, whatever. Currently I have to use remote bombs since landmines wouldn't let me use the vehicle. I want it to keep the vehicle from being stolen. Of course, I could set a vehicle up just as bait too... :evil: The way I've come up with is put a bunch on the back side, then park it so the security system's hidden and activate the laser on at least one. More importantly, I just want to say "don't forget the landmines." |

i like this idea a lot, especially considering my extensive use of setting traps, it would ad a lot more function, but if it is put in it should be an optional thing because it could seriously affect team balances and i could see it very easly being abused |
