The idea behind this weapon is a combination of the venom needdle gun and a regular pinapple nade
To be more specific it's a nade somewhat larger then the pineapple nade , and it jettisons needles
Story behind the weapon
During one of the first encounters with the skrith on a remote mining planet ,the miners had to retreat to the underground network of tunnels resulting in heavy losses.
One of those miners the criminal Illurok (who was forced into labor) with a military background was planing an escape he allready had all the needed equipment .
Now he found himself in a thight spot and created with the explosives used for tunneling and some scrap metal a weapon to take out as much enemy's as possible .
It was used with great succes and he and some other miners where capable to escape from the skrith , allthough they wher not yet free , there escape pod had been picked up by a military cruiser and they where interogated .
The UTC gave the prisoner full pardon for his criminal past and offerd him a place as millitary and tactical advisorin return for the plans and further development of the nade.
Primary fire
Throw/roll the nade after a few seconds the needles emmerge from the cassing of the nade and prepare to be launched in all directions doing serious damage aswel as the needles ripping through almost every armour.
Secundary Fire
This does some serious damage aswel the needles are released out of the nade and can be used to attach the nade to a wall.
A proximity detection devise will detect anyone getting near the nade resulting in an explosion and needle festival ( person gets to be a shiskebab )
