Idea in Session...

Dual N32 Scuba knives

Primary- slash and stab

Alt- prepared stab or slash

Special- block

Special 2- throw knives


Story- most knives are useful for many things, but these knives have things different that most knives, they work anywhere, They are scuba knives, which is stronger than some knives, but is slower to swing. These knives are used by the Apocolytes which are useful for stealth or just chopping up skrith, this model is the most interesting, because it has mini AquaD3 Micro generators that your attacks are stronger and when thrown, the range is increased underwater.

Hmm... weapons specialized for an aquatic section of the UTC might actually prove to be a rather interesting concept.

As for the knife letting you swim faster, I'd have to agree with DK... it just doesn't seem to work. Now, on the other hand, if the micro propulsion system let you attack under water faster and perhaps give you much better range if thrown, that might work pretty cool.

Hmm. . .If we were gonna add another knife, I'd want one specialized for throwing. Perhaps barbed, so that it does a bit of extra damage if you try to move in the few seconds after you've been hit with one, since the barbs would tear muscle as you try to move.

Just a thought.

We already have a knife, and we already have a dual melee weapon. All we really need is the Tazer form Junk War and we'd be set.

Storm already mentioned a Tazer in another thread. Look in the registry

I have to agree that we have all the blades that are really necassary. I would like our next melee weapon to be significantly different from the slashers and stabbers.

Think about smashers and crushers. We have none of those.

The underwater bonus is a good thought however

Can't you just set it in Loadout or Ballistic Weapons mut taht the taser from JW shows up as a meele?

Hear that Kab, just set the taser in loadout or Ballistic Weapons muts.
