sorry if it's a little early but this is an idea worth mentioning

S63 Multigun

Primary- fire rounds

alt- use scope

special- switch type of ammo you get 3 choices

P40 needle rounds- is the normal rounds you get and they pack a wallop, damaging vital organs, sticking on to things, and allows headshots 8)

I7 Toxic rounds- allows for poisoning multiple people at the same time, now you can use it for stealth!!!

G7 thunder rounds- an EMP that damages vital machinery as well as shocking the enemy opposition. when the scope is used it becomes a thunder strike, damaging multiple foes and blows up vehicles.

Story- during the raid on planet Isorons, the skrith were destroying thousands of citizens, so the New Gun of Isorons made a weapon that can be used for different things such as an EMP, toxic, and needles, after 5 weeks they finished it, then used it to get rid of those pesky skrith.

Clip- 7 rounds, 7 on pick up, 2 clips of each kind, 70 overall

Heh, This sounds a bit like the Divisor, a weapon idea I have been constructing in my mind lately. Except its two pistols.

Anyway lets assume the ice pistol doesnt use gunpowder but another mechanism so the bullet isnt shattered.

But I am a little curious about the magice shot, I googled this and got lots of hits about a synonym for magic.

Now when you put the two pistols together you are merging an ice shard with a glob of hot molten rock.

Doesnt that make a glob of hot steamy molten rock? Or maybe just a rock. But whats magice?

I imagine there are plenty of ways to project an ice bullet out while keeping the projectile intact. Pneumatics is high up in my theory, though a mini mass driver could work too.

Now for the Lava projectiles. Some things currently just don't add up to me right now. Are they actual lave bullets with shell casings, or is there like a tank that it draws the liquid from and just forms a projectile in the firing chamber/barrel?

If they are prepackaged bullets, they'd have to have some sort of cover around the lava in order for the bullets to be store able. The cover would have to be able to shatter without too much pressure, but they'd have to be solid enough to be safe to store and transport.

Why bullets made of ice? Why not metal bullets bathed in liquid nitrogen? Or partially hollowed-out bullet filled with liquid nitro that shatters in the body, flash freezing the surrounding flesh?

Although really, it would take way too much energy to keep the magma toasty or the ice cold. It's just not practical.

yeah, except they aren't lethal at all. They tested ice bullets on Mythbusters (twice) and they found out you can do it, but the worst it would do is just splatter you with little bits of water, or if the bullet survived being fired, it'd only cause a bruise.

Well we were going to assume the ice pistol does not use gunpowder, but another mechanism.

Not that it matters as the pistols are now multi-round pistols.
