The zar of amoun,is a powerful weapon created by the skrith twenty millennia ago.
it was said to be used by the gods themselves,it has been said to have slain entire armies with in seconds.

Description:the tzar is a melee weapon it is a dark redish gold some what freakish looking guantlet that you wear on your hand,the tzar when activated shoots forward a one and a half foot phased energy blade some what like a light saber but also some what transperant becuase of its phased energy it actually phases in and out of differnt diminsions.
its primery fire is a simple slash
the alt fire is a stab
and the special mode is the guard or block move that also brings up a energy shield that will literally reflect any blow agianst the shield back at the enemy so your foe will take exact damage amount that his or her weapon does when it hits the shield.for example using the g5 rocket luancher would kill your foe becuase he hit ypur shield while u were blocking,and it reflected the hit and so the rockets actual damage is reflected on the enemy.

Note:the shield only works for about 10 seconds and can only be recharged by killing people with the weapon and if you continue to use the shield when it has no energy it will start to take your healthpoints to power it .

A melee weapon that reflects is a little too much and a little unrealistic I think. How does it "reflect" damage to the shooter? That would fall a little bit into the realm of "magic", which is not what BW is about.

And even if it was, there would literally be no reason to use any of the other melee weapons.

Yeah, I think you need to tone down the reflect ability.

Maybe something like the shield can be out for a few seconds at a time. At the time it comes out it could maybe send out a short range blast wave that reverses the direction of things like grenades and rockets. The shield could perhaps then reflect bullets and absorb skrith energy and flames from the flame thrower.

Rockets and grenades that aren't reflected could perhaps either just do full damage or be absorbed for less damage.

I also think the rail gun should be much harder to stop, maybe it only lessens the damage for that thing by 50%?

Anyways, something like this would still make it pretty darn powerful, but it would limit its power quite a bit.

I like the general idea though.

Possibly the shield can be out for a long time, but each hit decreases that time, and when it burns out, you have to hold it uselessly for a few seconds before you can switch to an effective weapon or it recharges enough for a blade.

Or, it can be out for a while and if you let it overcharge it explodes like the Lgun.

the tzar does the damage reflect simular to the weapons of evil parasite gun so if say a m50 bullet takes 25dmg and it hits the tzars shield it will use the parasites ability to zap that much energy from the guy that fired at it
