I don't know if the word Jump Cannon has been used in another game, but I have an idea. Kind of like a gun that can help you jump and make your enemies fly into the air.

Primary Shot: Enemy Bounce. If an enemy is hit by this beam, they skyrocket into the air and fly a certain direction rapidly. They cannot do anything when hit by the beam until they touch the ground again. If you're lucky enough, this could blow them up and they'll die falling down. Small damage, because the bounce will usually do the job.

Secondary Shot: Charge Bouncing. You can charge the shot to increase speed and height of the bounce. Slightly notched up damage depending on the charge. Full charge gives 60 damage.

Special Function: Self Bounce. Hold onto the button and a pointing laser that looks like a jump beam frozen in time will be pointing at the location you're aiming at. Left-Click during hold jumps you right to that location at a moderate pace, and Right-Click speeds your jump up, and the height is more flat, no sudden changes or anything.

Details.Misc: I want it to have a flat nozzle and the laser is two beams closing in to the aiming point. Maybe skrith themed, because it's plasma. The sound effect, maybe like a bouncing sound with that big SPLAT sound when your ragdoll hits something at a fast pace. If you could, maybe when you die from the jump cannon from flying away, make a sort of sound that represents the player gliding away to its death. Like the classic DING sound when people get blown away in cartoons or in Super Smash Brothers.

Hmmm,Jump Cannon,thats a pretty good idea but,wouldn't throwing yourself high in the air hurt?
I mean if your using the same thing thats killing your enemy on your self.....well...yeah.
Im just not sure how it would work because if you jump off a cliff,hopp out of a Raptor in flight,ect.;it's gonna hurt unless you have a gravity belt,or jump boots.How about making the cannon generate some sort of gravity orb around you for a short period of time and then all bets are off,so you dont die and you wouldn't be able to jump 80 miles through the sky grab the enemies flag and jump back right on your base"same would aply with ONS" Then again if you left it like it was it would add some tactical skill to it in a way that you could jump to high places but,you couldnt use it to travel over long distances,all-in-all its a good idea,nice job

This sounds somewhat like the gravity gun in HalfLife 2.

A better name would be Skrith Gravity Manipulator. And that fits BW pretty well by the way.

Yes, and what's your point? It is basicly proven that black holes can bend light, but changing the pace of time is a questionable theory.

i think its funny that a massive starship doesnt have the same power that some junky car running off electric strikes and garbage ...and the point of killing hitler would be to kill him before he does the mass murder and war bit, not just to prevent him from killing himself as entertaining as that thought is

as for jump cannon...its a good idea i like it really, but i dont think it fits BW, and that ding sound thing is really cartoony...which in unreal terms...scares me

suggestions for substitutions for the jump gun:
-random gravity mutator, its out there if you want to look for it and it does pretty much the same thing without the gun and the "DING"
-low gravity and rocket jumping quake style...if that works never tried it...im sure theres some way to turn off self damage or a mutator for that too...this is when i miss the impact hammer

Time itself doesn't exist, it is something that us humans invented to explain how the universe expands. With tremendous gravity, you can theorotically slow down this expansion in a small area.

Time is just how we explain how "time flies by", how the future comes and another future awaits. Pretty confusing, I have a bit of a trouble fully understanding it myself.

But this could be neat for a gravity gun, if you create a singularity with the gun, everything near it goes in slow motion.

I still like the idea of a singularity that sucks every interactive object and crushes it. Would be awesome if the visuals were well made.

I read that if you take a trip to the moon and back, and the whole trip takes some specific amount of time which I cannot recall, you come back to Earth 3 seconds younger. I know, it's weird, but it's true.

how do you come back younger? that sounds like totally BS!

I don't have the knowledge to find any reason why that should be true, but if there are many scientists that agree then I guess we could agree with them too.
