Sure, sure, this has been brought up before, but this time I got a screen shot from the future to show you guys how cool it will look.



Oh, and no fancy special moves, just pure, brutal brawling with your two hands. We don't need no overcomplicated stuffs, they're your fists after all, they're supposed to be something a sane person would only use under extreme emergencies when no melee weapon is present. Therefore they don't need to be balanced with the other melee weapons. They just need to be something as an emergency backup, like when you lose all your weapons or you just feel like tearing into someone with your bare hands.

Also, the possibility of your screen flashing white if hit in the head is a great feature.

Add this to the X3 Knife weapon. Let the guy throw his last knife and switch entirely to fists.

Or in the case of Loadout, give people the option of going without a melee weapon to carry more grenades or ammo or something.

This sounds like my fists, 'cept without the special kills

hey let the special function of the fist be that you grab the guy and choke him or punch him in the face while holding him with your other hand

Although if it could be done, you should also give that ability to the Skrith Rifle stab. Impale -> Unload -> Rinse -> Repeat

Thing is, the fists would require animations that are new to have the grab idea. None of you notice something yet?

being killed by fists is a big humiliation (or how yu spell it )

this would be a very cool feature, moving a little faster then normal melee weps with fists would be cool too.

Killed by fists is a pretty big humiliation, but if you go Berserk... that's another story.

I love the idea of grabbing someone and then punching the living snot out of him, sounds brutal and effective. I dunno if this should implement that though, at least not right now.

I doubt this should be added to the knife, this should just be persistently available to anyone (though an option should be in place to disable/enable that feature).

Not added to the knife specifically, but you should be able to throw your last knife and automatically switch to fists once it leaves your hands.

hmm so what sorta coding would be needed to impliment a grab move for the fist i mean you can already grab characters in chaos mod,and in unreal 4ever mod also so the coding part should be easy the animations for the grab and beating would be hard

Yeah, I'd say the animations would be the hardest part.

Would be pretty sweet though.

An alternative "special move" that though of, would be if you catch an opponent from behind, some kind of hit that puts adversary out of balance for a short time, making aim as difficult as when running and jumping with minigun at 3600 rpm, which would give the reward to the sneaky player to have advantage with punches for a short time. May be not that spectacular, but animation and code might be not that troublesome.

On a fists vs fists is there an option to block ? Wouldnt block melee weapons or bullets, but quite a fun sight if you could catch two players on a boxing match

Special moves? Nah, don't need 'em.

Just punch them in the back of the head to momentarily stun them, then rough him up some.

Would probably be best for blocking on fists would be the ability to block all blunt attask, be it fists or shotgun smacks, but some damage should still get through to you, as your arms are still rather exposed and unarmoured.
