Yeah, "final", Not!

FP2 signal grenade.

Primary- throw it, then a beam comes up, signaling the airstrike, which comes a airplane which launches a powerful explosive missile. When it hits the grenade then the area will explode (due to the missile hitting it.)

Alt- switch between missiles,

Explosive- destroys infantry, vehicles, and turrets

Fire- douses the area with fire, taking out many infantry.

Poison- covers the area with the gas used as the T10, except it has a wider area.

Story- On the last battle of Thantos, the army was having a tough time with these skrith, but had a FP2 in their aresnal- they used it and a H33 skyhawk came in and blew the hell up.

it wasn't finalized until 2155, which the first one only had one type of missile, the finalized version had 3 types.

Ammo- it's a superweapon so you can only carry one.

This would be pretty cool.

An interesting little feature could be that perhaps what type of support you call in could be varied based on the level.

For example, some levels might have some sort of bomber drop bombs, another might have the Skyhawk blast the land with missles, another might simply bring forth an artillery barrage, and yet another could bring down an orbital cannon (which that itself could be varied, from ion to massive beam laser to perhaps a simple, huge railgun.).

There'd have to be some way to determine what maps have what, perhaps through a random choice or maybe even an itemizer type thing that lets you choose and save your choice for individual levels?

Then of course there should be something that lets you choose something as a default support strike.

a cool weapon only ideal for ons or outdoors maps for the airstrike part of the weapon cuase on an indoor map like bridge of fate ctf map the airstrike part of the fp2 is useless no way ur getting a airplane in there lol

This idea isn't making any sense.
What sort of airstrike are we talking about?
How can the signal beacon request different types of attack? (fire, poison, etc.)
What would happen if you use it indoors?

One: this is only use in outdoor levels, replacing the target painter.

two: one single powerful missile taking out a small area of interest.

three- by typing a code of some sort.

Hmmm... Too high-risk...

Players could just kick the grenade to make the Satellite reconfigure its firing coordinates, giving them more time to flee and/or kick the grenade back to their opponents...

That is an interesting gameplay aspect I hadn't thought of, now the weapon sounds even better than before. 8)
