Everytime i play Ballistic weapons i fell Ballistic weapons need more heavy weapons.
So i made this weapon:

Special sight let you play artillery. When you want to hit a target that is far away from you, use sight. The sight calculate where the grenade will hit and show this place in a frame (like in RPG)
More important things i was write on image.

I'm loving this idea. That gun's functionality reminds me of the grenade launcher from System Shock 2.

the grenade launcher from ss2 wasnt that good looking but it was a good weapon,and theres some good graphical mods for that gun :D

This is certanly becoming one of the most suggested ideas of all time. I guess to make things simpler for the runestorm devs, it will pay to keep the multiple grenade type ability standardised.

I think the different grenades need different magazines. Its impossible to shot different grenades from the same magazine. So, everytime you switch grenade types, you switch a magazine.
So we need to make a different magazines: plasma, napalm, frag and toxic.
You can change a grenade type by pressing weapon special.
When you press weapon special, you change magazine (like in reloading),to magazine with different grenades.

Kinda reminds me of ChaosUT's grenade launcher. I like it. How much work might be required to get the kind of effect used in Gear of War, which shows a 3D trajectory of your grenade?

That would probably require Unreal Engine 3. On the other hand it may be possible to show where the grenade will land with a small indicator on the ground. The SPMA uses this

By the way: it would be possible to fire different grenades from the same magazine if that magazine came with a variety of grenades ;)

It would be kind of interesting if you could setup the magazine of a grenade launcher.

Like if it can carry 6 at a time. Grenade 1 and 2 would be frag, grenade 3 and 4 napalm, grenade 5 toxic and grenade 6 emp.

This is not gameplay effective but would still be interesting. :P

incendiary grenades would chop up your frames badly and i mean badly

He means there won't be any more weapons for the UT2004 version of BW. Which is likely true.
