Hi,

After reading many posts and discovering that most people think we have too many assault rifles and shotguns i decided to post the idea of a weapon that would have similar firing modes as the shock rifle from ut2k4.

i saw this image on the internet from another game and thought that it would look good for a shock rifle styled weapon.

I have seen this (plasma rifle) before and the design is lovely. I would prefer it to be a plasma weapon. Shooting constant green sweeping beam. :3

Yeah i think it is, but i think you have to pay to play but it has great weapons

I was interested in Neocron at a time... but MMORPG... I will never pay to play to a game !
Anyway, I don't have the time and the will to stay that much on a game

Anarchy Online had cool weaons too but now it's getting quite old !

the gun could be made to fire dark matter since your going with a black beam and dark energy

Kinda related, but I think that a green version of the second weapon model would be a good look for the CEO's Tezra blaster.

yeah i like the like that gun im having trouble making the barrel asembly for the tezra model

i like the idea, the second model looks very interesting, let's just hope this idea actually makes it into the next version off BW.

More than one color for the same beam would be innovative to say the least.

because black lights give off a purple glow...

Those aren't actually black lights. They're white lights projecting through black filters. The filter makes it look purple.

Completely black light doesn't exist, which is what makes it such an interesting feature in an energy weapon. In real life, we call black light 'shadows'.

The only exception I know are black holes. The singularity is so heavy that all light gets sucked in, leaving a black "core" in the center, which can't be categorized as a shadow nor a physical black colored object. Turning that into the form of a laser beam for an energy weapon would, as I said above, be fekking cool. Imagine a weapon firing black laser that gives away black colored "glow". So weird.

I'd imagine that if one of these beams went across your screen, thered be a black line which leaches colour from objects behind it.
