Hi, After reading many posts and discovering that most people think we have too many assault rifles and shotguns i decided to post the idea of a weapon that would have similar firing modes as the shock rifle from ut2k4. i saw this image on the internet from another game and thought that it would look good for a shock rifle styled weapon. I have seen this (plasma rifle) before and the design is lovely. I would prefer it to be a plasma weapon. Shooting constant green sweeping beam. :3 |

I was interested in Neocron at a time... but MMORPG... I will never pay to play to a game ! Anyway, I don't have the time and the will to stay that much on a game
Anarchy Online had cool weaons too but now it's getting quite old ! |

Those aren't actually black lights. They're white lights projecting through black filters. The filter makes it look purple. |

Completely black light doesn't exist, which is what makes it such an interesting feature in an energy weapon. In real life, we call black light 'shadows'.
The only exception I know are black holes. The singularity is so heavy that all light gets sucked in, leaving a black "core" in the center, which can't be categorized as a shadow nor a physical black colored object. Turning that into the form of a laser beam for an energy weapon would, as I said above, be fekking cool. Imagine a weapon firing black laser that gives away black colored "glow". So weird.

I'd imagine that if one of these beams went across your screen, thered be a black line which leaches colour from objects behind it. |
