Yup. The title says it all: X600 "Falcon" Made by Chrome Firepower Not your average bow: Has an electiric motor to power a compound-bow like system: Fires arrows at over 300 miles an hour. Edit: Btw, a compound bow pic:(modern) 
X850 "Hunter" Crossbow-Also by chrome. Fires 3 bolts in quick succession, reload with cylinder with 3 bolts, each spins into place. Maybe a scope. Edit: Modern Cbow pic:

Bows would seem odd in BW,but this sorta fits Chrome's business stance.The big problem,however,is that they make guns with 'flair'(or was it weapons,if so forget this sentence).This is no gun. I would love to see these. |

how about make the arrows for anti-cryon purposes, put some kind of mini nuclear device on the end that generates a small emp to disable their heavy attatchments. |

I Still think BW needs a Good six shot grenade launcher. But a bow Would be awsome. but i like crossbows better. i dont know why. |

Crossbows would fit in I think. Afterall, they are near silent and are used by forces like the SAS for stealthy assasinations. Looking at their description, the Skrith, with their stealthy ambushes, would most likely employ this. Make it a cross between a wookie bowcaster and the A73 and give it a scope, and you have the skrith sniper rifle that some people want. |

There's still a variety of weapon concepts that have not been done in the Ballistics flavor. to list a few: bolters, that napalm wave launcher in Rise of the Triad, auto shotgun, nail bombs, caltrops, bear trap, automated turrets, a ripper / shuriken catapult, crossbow, bow, grenade launcher, cryon freezer, airfist, grappling hook, uav drones, that brainbomb drill drone from the old turok game, shrink ray, etc, etc. Some of these do overlap with Chaos UT, which is high enough quality to mesh with Ballistics... buuuuut they aren't exactly on the same theme and don't have clips or reloading. Some of the above concepts don't suit ballistics, prolly for being too silly and such. But there is still plenty of other things they can do. I for one would welcome bows or crossbows, especially with multiple arrow types or arcs. Even better if they arrows are recoverable, or stick out of what they hit, or even pin them to the terrain on death. Just remember, if you add an arc, to make sure its gentle enough bots can hit the broad side of a barn with it at medium range. bots using the beta u4e compound bow would always shot way short of me when they toggled the bow. unless they used one of the WMD arrow types. |

I like the nailgun from FEAR better than the bolter in PK. |
