Yeah Im not sure how they got the name ethier...anyways I was looking on wiki for guns that might make a good addition to BW and I found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyrojet and thought it was a interesting gun. And if it isnt realy a BW theme gun you could always add a bunch of things like the way it looks, well anyways tell me what you think.

I've actually thought a rocket-rifle would be a good addition to BallisticWeapons, but I thought something more along the lines of a Warhammer40k boltgun would be better. It's more futuristic, and has that very solid look the most of the BW weapons have. Here's a pic: http://www.40ksource.com/refs/media/Boltgun.jpg |

Hmm. . .I like the boltgun better. Mostly becasue it's a more solid looking weapon, and it could be fully automatic (slow rate of fire would be good, though). Honestly, I'd find it a lot easier to feel intimidated by the boltgun than by that pistol. I think a rocket-propelled-bullet weapon would be a great addition to BW no matter what it was, though. |

Thank you, Mr. Uglypants, for being blunt as usual. Anyhow, I'm not sure any of the real gyrorifles look or feel that threatening, or if they really fit BW. But some kind of heavy rifle that fires very small rockets at a slow ROF would be a neat addition to BW. Though the shard cannon might already be filling that role. |

Your welcome Carsomyr! As you said i'm pretty sure the shard cannon would fill that void! Also why do you want a gun that shoots mini rockets! Another reason why i said the gun is useless is that besides it looking like a toy (which Carsomyr pointed out), it looks so fake and the wood looks horrible! also why would someone want a pistol that can be used as a rifle as well? |

It might be kinda neat to have a combo gun with two magazines (could look a bit like this) that fires both regular bullets and micro rockets. The rockets would explode on impact and deal major damage. Alternatively, they could inject some kind of poison or use EMP to fry robots and temporarily disable vehicles. They could be fired in quick succession as there's hardly any recoil. Relatively low ammo count and slowness (not hitscan like bullets) would be their balancing disadvantages. |
