Weapon type: Dual mode Grenade launcher

Manufacturer: Aerous Assault

Ammunition: Contact Grenades

Firing modes: Rapid fire, High impact

Primary fire: Fires the grenade, differs with different firing modes.

Rapid fire: Can repeatedly fire grenades at a rate of 3 per second, range medium. damage comes for explosion which is a bit smaller than that of a pineapple. damage about 50 per grenade

High impact: A handle pops out from the top and this must be cocked after each shot, the grenade travels at such a fast speed that it almost rivals the railgun, the explosion is the same but does less damage, the main damage comes from impact which can be up to 180+

Seconday fire: fires timed grenades that won't explode on impact like the others if high impact is selected then the grenade will embed itself in the targets guts and will explode 3 seconds later whether the target is alive or not...

This is just a basic design, tell me what you think and ways to improve it :)

Rivaling a rail gun in speed and damage from pure impact does not sound right. Common SF=charge+mega damage are the most boring idea. It should always be avoided.

I've been noticing a lot of these one shot kill weapons. They all seem kinda silly. Not realy fair either.

I would say,drop the damage on rapid fire with grenades that travel about the same as the underslung(can't remember code),as for high impact,same explosive damage as the first,(your shooting less and this makes it more realistic)impact damage lower with speed of a Jrml rocket.

The idea of turning of the damage for higher speed does not make much sense.

Krab Killer is a cute name. :3

It was designed to be multi-purpose, when in rapid fire mode it could be a normal grenade launcher or rapid fire artillary, when in high impact mode it was supposed to be more useful in direct combat situations, the weapon is however large and only holds 6 in its clip, and when in high impact hold the grenades will not bounce if set to timed.

And the damage on high impact was just a estimation it was up to 180 not always 180 if you see what i mean

This I agree with, this gun is too powerful so no skill is required, you could always weaken it eg:
    make it burst fire instead of rapid fire, with smaller clip
    make it have to be deloyed to fire
    serious knock back aka throw you off the edge knock back
    hurts youself as you use it
    V.V.V.slow reload
    once burst fire is used it uses up the whole clip, no stopping
    make the user slow due to the weight of the gun (jump height should aslo be affected, no sprinting/doging)

That is just a list of my opinion for changes to the gun that I would make for the gun to be fairer.

no, its very effective against hard-core campers or "krabs"

And it is very heavy, thats what i meant by large, sorry for not explaining myself, the weapon is a large and heavy weapon, roughly about the same weight as the rpg and when using it in high impact mode you can't double jump either
