I've been wondering, the G5 is more like a bazooka with a slow projectile. I would love to see one that's used by terrorists nowadays. and make the rocket fly faster if someone is going to make it. Don't know how it would fit into the story.

Primary launches a fast moving rocket (d. radius smaller than g5 direct hit more than g5)
Secondary can allow you to guide the missile.

as a "wot ya packing gun corp" weapon. ;)

maybe used by some outworld planets rebels. I like it, and the look is cool. maybe make the secondary something more unique, what about making the head separate and become something like the m50 grenade(powerful, obviously)? special could have a mortar-homing mode like the G5, but instead of hitting the victim directly, make the thing a cluster bomb.

Making it guideable seems like a lie.
I recken anything like this should be unguided with a parabolic path.

This would be a badass weapon if the projectile was super fast and had didn't auto-detonate. It'd be useful to take out more distant targets or fast vehicles that the G5 rockets can't keep up with.

it would be something between the G5 and the HAMR. while the G5 has slow, straight shot, the HAMR is fast, but is shot in arc. and about the cluster that I suggested, it will make the thing explode and shot some small missiles.best to take off people more grouped together maybe make the thing not seeking, just a mortar with cluster missiles.

I think the G5 has too much of a splash radius. A soldier said a RPG impacted a foot from his head and he only suffered from not sooo serious injuries. Another soldier claimed that a RPG hit him in the head and he didn't die (he was wearing kevlar helmet). The cluster thing you were talking about, is going to be like the SPMA shells, the way they seperate?

not tooo separate, something to fit 2-3 bots. the SPMA cluster is too separate, i think.
and Kevlar isn't used to protect from bullets?

yes knives can defeat kevlar easily not sure about explosions

Kevlar is good against bullets, but I doubt it can do much to protect from explosions.

iono, it kinda sounds like the railgun (not the mechanism, but what it would be used for) with just a slight explosive radius. maybe instead of a whole new weapon we could modify the railgun?

by talking about Kevlar, how a guy would survive a explosion in the head and die by a mine in the ground? %-6

Our RPG could be Fast, but don't have a scope, making it different of the HAMR and the G5. to make thing more different, the secondary could be an mortar shot, that will explode in the air(like 3 meters from the ground) and launch clusters. it would make it effective against people grouped together. and i think that the RPG could be deadly, but only one shot per time and a medium time to reload

There isnt much protection in the legs but there is kneecap armor (dont know what it is called scientifically).

I think that your ideas are great, we just need a simple fast moving rocket RPG that looks like that one I showed you guys and a mortar and a cluster option

Same. An RPG should be simple but effective.

Could have a lethal backblast just like in real life.

Yes any one standing behind the shooter should get KO.

We can have a solid fast moving rocket for primary and cluster mortar for secondary . Primary would produce a deadly boom, secondary would be.... wait we should use the special button to change the type of ammo you want. when you pickup ammo for the RPG it could say "you picked up 1 solid rocket and 1 cluster rocket for the RPG7" or something like that. ;)

Now I dont know what secondary should be. ?!

Yes it is.

Secondary could be to hit someone with the RPG (with a 20% chance of the warhead going off).
Special could be to switch the loaded rocket.
Ammo - Fragmentation, Cluster, Remote mine.

Remote mine fires a small mine. When disturbed, it explodes with a small explosion (smaller than current mine).

The pickup is pretty small for a pack to carry 2 rockets.

The G5 ammo pickup is just 2 rockets stacked on top of each other. How could it be too smal" to carry 2 rockets when it's just 2 rockets to begin with? Besides, G5 rockets aren't very large at all.

I'm all for the different kinds of ammo idea where you can switch using the special button, but in addition to that , include actual ammuntion such as PG-7VM HEAT round (low splash radius, medium vehicle damage), the PG-7VR dual warhead (tandem) HEAT round (medium low splash, heavy vehicle damage), the TPG-7V thermobaric round (large splash radius, heavy personel damage), and the OG-7V fragmentation round (medium-heavy personel damage, medium splash radius). All pictures are shown in respective order in relation to how they were listed.
