While the flamethrower put fire in things, that one will freeze people.

Primary fire: like the flamethrower, but that freezes.
it does not freeze instantly. first, it only damage the target, but after some time the target will freeze, doing damage in times(to indicate this, the victim will have see ice crystals in the corners of the screen ). however, after some time time the ice will melt.
secondary fire: will shot ice shards. maybe razors, so you can decapitate people. but then it would be too powerful.

It has a pack, and if the pack is shoted, the user will freeze and die slowly. or if it is liquid nitrogen, it will explode, and we will see some freezed gibs lying around !lol
the ice can be melt if someone uses a flamethrower or a FP9 grenade in the guy.


any innacuracy, or something, post here. i just think that we need more evil weapons. :d

Nice idea. But I personally would prefer if the gun didn't do any HP penalty. Continuous fire would instead slow down the victim progressively until s/he comes to a stop and is all blue and, well, icy. Then you could finish the job with another gun. (or the secondary fire of the freezer)

A shard attack doesn't have to be overpowered, by the way. Take the Stinger from Unreal for an example.

and by the way yours shots crystals, mine shots ICE crystals :P and the freezer is to kill people only, Synergy destroys vehicles. but you have a good weapon design, original, and has a lot of uses.

besides we don't have anything cold.

yeah, Its really similar... if we combine weapons, the primary will be like the flamethrower, but freezes, and secondary the ice crystals. special will charge them, reload will be like yours... and we now have a really good weapon!

Charging attacks are the really last to go. They are the most boring and too common. Just charge your weapon and wait for an oponent *boom*. (-,-) It's almost a bid bad that the lightning gun has that as secondary.

Charging wouldn't work anyway unless the gun has a backpack attachment or something else in that direction.

What about you reload by ejecting empty liq. nitrogen canisters and put new ones in?

You know, this reminds me somewhat of the freezethrower in Duke Nukem 3D - therefore, I want to be able to kick the frozen person and for them to shatter.

what about the flamer from u4e? that was a flamethrower/icethrower... This just sounds exactly like that. (minus the fire aspect) or the MUG from chaos, once again a Flamethrower/icethrower, but the way your weapon freezes people, is the same way the two weapons i just mentioned freeze people. If it's liquid nitrogen, it should flash freeze them. maybe that should be secondary, but it uses a full canister/clip. and primary will just slowly damage and freeze them, using a little Liq. Nitro
