Yep, the rail bow idea was gonna come sooner or later. Model by Malmida from DeviantArt. Z60 Magnetic Rail Bow Company- Hyperion Member SX. Primary: Fires a charged arrow, it's weaker then the railgun, but stronger than a normal bow. Damage: 50-70 Alt- Short circuits the arrow tip to create an EMP to disable vehicles and turrets. Weak against infantry. Damage: 30-40 Special- Uses scope to get a bead on enemies Special 2- Switches between Infrared, Night Vision, and X-Ray Scope. Story- During SX's final campaign against Xan Mk. II on Citas, Nexius troopers were carrying a Z44 Rail Bow, the latest in bow and arrow technology, unfortunately they barely got a chance to use it against SX, and he used their firepower against them. Primary charges up the arrow using magnetic coils, eliminating the chance of letting the arrow drop, it also activates the charging cycle. Once the arrow is released, the arrow flies straight toward the target and explodes in a light blue explosion, small, but useful against infantry and light vehicles. Alt tampers with explosive charge and turns the arrow into a EMP device, short circuiting vehicles and turrets, as well as finishing off stragglers. A scope was outfitted to see far away targets as well with extra sights. Ammo- 3 Death Strings SX forced a rail charged into Xan's gut. Xan had his imploded by a rail arrow. SX precisely crippled Xan with a magnetic charged arrow. Xan's crotch was blown into oblivion. Alt- Xan began to convulse due to SX's EMP Rail Arrow. SX stuck a EMP arrow between Xan's teeth. SX tampered with a Arrow to kill Xan. Xan peed on a Rail arrow and got fried into crisp. Suicide- Xan charged his arrow, and shot his foot (Primary) Xan went into cardiac arrest from a EMP arrow. A good bow always makes for a great shooter. (disagree with me? Look at "U4E" "chaosUT" "HL1" "HL2") Does the shot arc? Raziel |

isn't it interesting, there has been many threads for bows and the like, but no one has yet completed one... I definitely think that there has been too much of nothing and that if this is really that sought after, that somepne should step forward and try to make this sucker!!! Also Malmida's stuff is awesome, i watch his deviantart, prettyl cool stuff, although lots of it looks... uncomfortable to use... |
