This is the most extreme gore idea i ever had. Imagine you could pick up a limb of the enemy you mauled, and beat other enemies to death with it

...not really. Never played Mortal Kombat. I just sat in the bus, thinking about humiliation, death and destruction, and then this idea came up.

Not as effective as using the melee weapons already present.

Though i think you should get bonuspoints with it. You practically kill 2 enemies with 1 weapon. Also, it's the perfect humiliation.

I think it'd be useful if they made that a function under the 'Special' function key. You stand on a limb, a message appears: 'Press 'special' to pick up the arm/leg/head/ torso'

This sounds like a good use for Junk Wars. Just make an assortment of models for various limbs, give them some generic stats, have the gibs somehow linked to the weapon pickups for the limb weapons, and have them destructible. Would be a prime example of use for Junk Wars.

This would go very well with my removable limbs / forced to crawl idea... Also, for extra humiliation, you should add ass shots, complete with reward system (buttboy, assmaster, ass ownership etc. -- basically like Crotch Shot). Apparently gangbangers sometimes shoot each other in the ass to show disrespect, and to humiliate their opponent.

I suggest creating a limb system where if you shoot at one's leg out, the person can still be alive
but moves slow. Lost a left arm? No dual, both legs? crawling with health dropping slowly.

So anyone working on this yet? I'm not particularly interested in the idea, but it wouldn't take much to make a start at it. Someone oughta do it.

The UT2004 / UT3 game.

If this will be made, it's not likely for it to be created by my hands.

Gibbing the enemy while he is alive would be insanely cool.

Hmm... people want a mod made, but won't do it because they lack the skills required? Um... Not sure how to put this, but people aren't exactly born with these skills, they have to learn them...

So anyways, models/skins and animating aren't needed, we can just use the BW gibs for that. And junk War hardly needs any skills to work with. Basically, you just copy code from some similar weapon, change the mesh to be used to point it to the various BW gibs, then just do a bit of tweaking with numbers to get the right damage and such. Quite easy to do.

Of course, not having the game does put a limit on what you can do as well.

Someone go over to BW Community if you're interested in making this and you will get plenty of help to, at the very least, get you started in the right direction.

Body part breakage is entirely possible too, though a few extra meshes might be needed for that. Simply asking nice enough can probably get you some results.

You can get it quite cheap now (Unless you are on about UT3) in a Box Set... or you could ignore me as it is just a thought

Don't spurt that out, there's nothing offensive in your post. It is kind of awkward that I still wander around here while I don't have the game. Don't worry though, I'll have UT's GotY (from 1 to 2004) and UT3 anytime sooner/later. Depends on my financial business with my temporary work.
