lol, I understand most of these gun ideas everyone has, but... what do you mean by redo dot scope? You mean you want it to use the R78 scope texture when zoomed in? Or you mean like a scope that has just a red dot in the middle? Please explain this one.

how about more meele attacks for more of the weapons in the game and maybe some guns could use the same ammo like the M50 and the S-AR12 should use the same magizne since they are both 5.56mm x 45mm rounds the D49 and the winchester rifle should both uses long colt 45 maybe anyway just some Ideas

make it use the clips from the SRS900 battle rifle instead of the the belt of .50 cal and make the shots form the weapon alittle stronger than the SRS900 but have much lower recoil than the SRS900

First idea is impossible. I don't have the original models to do this, nor the capability to animate for these if I could.

Second one... M50 and S-AR12 already do use same ammo. Actually that Winchester (Deermaster in-game named) uses .22 LR ammo, not .357 Super Magnum rounds like the D49 does. My BWv21realistic mod does change a lot of guns to be using same ammo pools, but some are extremely bad in max-ammo capacities ATM (R9 and SRS900 have too little extra ammo I admit...).



Since I don't have the original models, this is also impossible, like with your idea of melee attacks. The melee attacks might actually be somewhat possible if I could code very well to get the guns to simply do offsets efficiently (and maybe take off a hand to make them not have arms in weird angles) and the hit boxes coded some-freakin'-how.

D49 is .44 Magnum, I believe.

Ah, yeah it is (just checked in the code). I might have been thinking of the LeMat. And hell, that isn't even right: it's .41 cal. What gun was I thinking of!?

BTW, I also found the Deermaster/Winchester uses .341 cal bullets.

A .22 LR rifle would be absolutely useless.

Also, why would you combine the SRS900 ammo with the R9 ammo? They're completely different.

What's this obsession with combining ammo pools anyway?

I did change the pickups and such to all be saying they used 7.62mm ammo. Reason I wanted to get ammo pools together is that you actually have to conserve some ammo while shooting. If you know that the gun you are using uses the same ammo as another gun, and you are good at using the guns at their respective fields of use, you'll rather not try to use one gun for another gun's role.

Also, I'm making my own different scope textures.

I don't think 2 guns using the same ammo could really diverge in roles in a significant way. I mean, the most significantly different guns using shared ammo are S-AR12 and M50, and that's more a factor of unrealistic chaos and recoil stats for the weapons.

Also, with such an arrangement, you're better off just using two guns that use different ammo pools, so you can carry more ammo.

It's really just something to make players think a BIT about ammo conservation. You can avoid conserving ammo if you do just use other guns in other ammo pools, but chances are that you will end up using a shared ammo pool weapon. Anyways, usually those guns are allowed a bit more ammo in the pool so you don't run outta ammo too quickly (5.56mm class is the primary example here).

This is certainly not the kind of game where I will want to hold back.

when you get the nova staff to turn you into an angel, you get 2 new firing modes, chain lightning which connects between nearby enemies, and god burst which fires a bolt of lightning but isn't perfectly straight
