I doubt many (if any) people working on their own add-on for Ballistic Weapons would be able to spare the time to make on weapon but here it is: My idea was to have a revolver Grip/Chamber, but have the barrel be a minigun, and fire n the same way. I made a quick render of it using a couple Fallout 3 mods |

I'm having trouble figuring out how the hell that is supposed to work. |

Obviously it would have to be modified, I even said that it is my BASIC idea for the weapon, not a full-fledged model, but the concept it a mini gun and revolver combo; It can be modified however necessary. |

Does it shoot all 6 bullets at once? |

Well it would look weird but I was imagining it with having the chamber replaced with a hollow chamber that you could put the mini gun clip in; then having its fire rate and damage be similar to that of a mini gun; and preferably dual-wield-able. Maybe it would make more sense for me to rephrase it, I was imagining a sidearm mini gun, not necessarily a revolver. See what I'm saying? |

Maybe a pistol minigun would make more sense But the idea of a minigun sidearm is cool, though it needs to be balanced due to the high rate of fire. |

Agreed, but I think we can also agree it would be EPIC to dual wield them, maybe balance it to have a pretty large recoil, considering they ARE miniguns being held in ONE hand |

To balance it you should give it some recoil and the problem that it'll overheat when firing too much, let it be a prototype weapon and not the finished product so the recoil and overheating make sense. That's basically my idea... |

The point of rotating barrels on real guns is to prevent barrels from overheating... |

That includes such a small gun as a revolver if it would have rotating barrels? |

Why not? There's much less of a charge, so there's less explosive forces, and the bullets are moving a lot slower, so there's less friction, so the notion of a rotationg pistol barrel array overheating seems awfully absurd to me. Why not give it a jam chance? It would have to be a very small, complicated feed mechanism, would be hard to make it work perfectly all the time. I'm actually thinking something like MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries' Rotary Auto Cannons, when they jammed it took quite a bit of time for the jam to resolve. |

Maybe give it an alternate firing mode using explosive rounds that do extra damage, and a different RPM, so that you fire too long in THAT firing mode and it can jam/overheat; or have a jam function for normal rounds, and an overheat function for explosive rounds. |
