I've come up with another idea. The PSR-50 Pathfinder Launcher is a rocket launcher, with a power output slightly less than that of the G5 (I'm thinking around 85%). Where the Pathfinder comes into its own is how it tracks its targets. Whereas the G5 requires user lock-on or manual guidance, the PSR-50 uses darts, fired from the launcher, that produce a radio signature (with a set radius) upon contact with a wall/person/vehicle which the rockets home in on. Each second, the rocket searches for a signature and homes in on the nearest one. Included on the launcher is a computer screen which shows as an overlay where each dart is in the direction the user is looking, as well as it's distance. Primary fire launches a rocket, secondary fire launches a dart. |

This time, I've actually got concept art, provided by Pimp My Gun! I'm not entirely sure how you load the weapon, though. I mean, the darts come in magazines, as you can see at the bottom of the picture, but I haven't decided on how to load the rockets just yet. Perhaps a front-loading system. |

Personally I like the Idea, firing darts that the missile have to track |

Or loading it like a bazooka or panzerchreck. And I think it needs a stock. |

No, something that big needs to be done like a Panzerfaust 3. In this case the whole rocket tube is disposable, and you just unclip the trigger and dart mechanism from the empty tube and attach it to a new fully loaded tube. |

So much so that I've produced concept-art based on that idea. |

I had the SMAW in mind with the only rear part as a disposable part Except if people prefers an other RPG like the PZF 3 or a Javelin style weapon |

Why not reload it like the Chaos havoc Rocket launcher, via a "clip" on the top which is reloaded similar to the mortar gun... I cannot remember the name, I haven't played in ages ^^; Malanok P.S Love the idea! |

What, the HAMR? Oh, yeah that animation is sweet. However, it's already been used, I don't want to copy another weapon's reload animation. I prefer originality, and by having most of the gun as the 'clip', it's definately original, in a Ballistic Weapons relativistic manner of speaking. One problem though is that it heavily implies that you don't carry much 'reserve ammo' for it. If that's the case, then perhaps I should crank up the damage and make it a superweapon. |

That's why I thought about the SMAW in therms of system http://www.designation-systems.net/dusrm/app4/smaw.html

If you want a clip on it, the barrel would have to change.... Make a longer and thinner barrel and give it slightly less damage. |

OK, time for some new concept art of both a front-loading and SMAW iteration. Not overly happy with the dimensions of the front-loading version, though. |

Just for originality, why not make it fire fuel-air rockets? |
