Post subject:  Ideas? Here's a few.

I can't really model (though I'm working on it), texture, or script, but I still have ideas!

AN50 'Automag Classic'
The Automag from the original Unreal, updated and improved for Ballistic Weapons.
Description: Designed for use on small ships, the AN50 Automag suffered from several unusual flaws that where exploited mercylessly - the most notorious was that turning the weapon sideways made it fire faster, but also made it less accurate. This became famous in the Tournaments, as contenders would often use the guns 'gansta style' to get a little more mileage out of their sidearms. While this updated version removes that flaw, it replaces it with automatic and burst fire modes, as well as a standard Laser Aiming Module and flashlight attachment.
Magazine size: 20 rounds, 10.5mm magnum
Primary: Fires bullets
Secondary: Laser aiming module on/off
Special: flashlight on/off
Fire modes: Semi-auto, automatic, 4-round burst

HAWK-93 Battle Rifle
An interesting battle rifle with lots of modes.
Discription: Finding the SRS-9000 battle rifle somewhat inadequate, several mercenary groups petitioned manufactures to build them a more variable rifle for all situations. The result is the HAWK-93 Battle Rifle, built by weapons upstart Mar-Sara gunworks. Though somewhat complex, the weapon's variable scope and UNR-3 Utility Launcher make for a very unique weapon.
Magazine size: 21 rounds, 7.62x51mm ammo; 1 round, UTIL multi-use ammo
Primary: Fires weapon
Secondary: Fires Utility Launcher
Special: switches Utility Launcher modes.
Scope: Minimum magnification is very low, max is moderate.
Fire Modes: Auto, Semi-auto, Burst
Utility Launcher modes: Sticky Camera, Grenade, Invisible Tripwire Alarm

XRN-482 'Destroyer' Assault Rifle
An assault rifle with a shotgun attachment.
Description: Mar-Sara gunworks' breakthrough military weapon, the Destroyer cuts the difference between a battle rifle and an assault rifle. Firing the 6.5mm Grendel round may reduce the ability of the user to acquire ammo in the field, but the improved stopping power and armor-piercing ability make up for it quite well. The addition of a holographic dot sight and shotgun attachment make it a fine weapon for any situation.
Magazine size: 20 rounds, 6.5mm Grendel; 4 12-gauge shotgun shells (tube magazine)
Primary: fires weapon
Secondary: fires shotgun attachment
Special: reloads shotgun attachment
Fire Modes: Auto, semi-auto, burst (2 rounds)

Z-99 Zastava machine pistol
An AP machine pistol.
Description: Not to be outdone by Krome Firepower, Mar-Sara Gunworks released the Z-99 Zastava machine pistol to tap into the need for automatic sidearms. Although it lacks a blade attachment, the big draw with this weapon is its unique ammo - 10mm flechette rounds. Though they do less damage to flesh than a similar-caliber standard bullet, armor can be destroyed rapidly. For added versatility, a small 14-gauge shotgun is included on military models.
Magazine size: 30 rounds, 10mm flechette; 2 14-gauge shotgun shells.
Primary: 10mm fire
Secondary: Shotgun shell

Z-99X Zastava Special Edition
A little trickier than before, with a nice bonus for people who've played Metroid.
Description: While the original Zastava was rather impressive, the Z-99X makes a much more interesting weapon. Improved rifling results in more accurate rounds and a longer barrel life, but the big change comes in the attachment: an electrowire module. This device fires a small, retrievable dart that can adhear to almost any surface; once attached, pressing the fire switch creates a 'wire' of damaging electrical energy - so long as the weapon is pointed toward the dart. Due to the attractive force between weapon and dart, this can be used to swing from location to location if used properly - or even latch onto vehicles.
Magazine size: 30 rounds, 10mm flechette; 1 electowire dart
Primary: 10mm fire
Secondary: deploy electrowire, activate electrowire while deployed. Dart itself does no damage, electrical discharge depends on distance from weapon/dart.
Special: retrieves electrowire.

MGRN-3 'Magic Missile' intelligent rocket launcher
Dodge this!
Description: A nasty surprise from Mar-Sara, the MGRN-3 has been nicknamed the 'Magic Missile' - and for good reason. Though its explosive payload is smaller than usual, once locked on the missile will avoid incoming fire and obstacles - even making hairpin turns down hallways. The Skrith have learned to fear this weapon, as even their most agile vehicles have difficulty dodging the Magic Missile. Unfortunately, it is somewhat less effective against smaller targets - such as humanoids - as the rockets may have difficulty following smaller target signatures.
Magazine size: 1 INT-MM rocket
Primary: fires rocket
Secondary: detonates fired rocket

ELEC-8 Electromagnetic Grapple Device
Separates the grapple device from the machine pistol, and makes it a bit more interesting. This weapon is almost entirely based around movement - the grapple beam itself does minimal damage.
Description: Designed for zero-gravity mining operations, the ELEC-8 was pressed into military service when a method of gaining entry to Skrith ships was needed. Though it didn't do as well as was hoped, the ELEC-8 still gained a following of specialist soldiers who used the device reel in enemies.
Magazine size: Power cell (charge is shown as a percentage, 100% = one minute of grapple time, slow recharge)
Primary: fires grapple. Once deployed, increases grapple length.
Secondary: melee attack. Once deployed, shortens grapple length.
Special: retrieves grapple device.

EDIT: Additional weapon!

X-8 MAAPMML (Multi Attack Anti Personal Multiple Missile Launcher) 'Eightball'
A missile massacre in portable form.
Description: Designed for dealing with the 'ogres' of Tylam Prime, the X-8 MAAPMML was nicknamed 'Eightball' because it could launch eight missiles at once. This devastating firepower is, unfortunately, not all that useful against heavy vehicles; however, the multi-lock features make it an excellent 'crowd control' weapon.
Magazine Size: 8 Eightball Rockets
Primary: Fire rocket(s)
Secondary: load additional rocket (up to eight)
Fire modes: Swarmfire (attacks single locked-on target), Spread Fire (fires a fan of unguided rockets), Drunken Fire (fires 'drunk' rockets, which erratically follow any nearby targets), Multilock Fire (lock onto up to eight targets and lets loose), Dumbfire Spiral (fires dumbfire rockets in a spiral), Dumbfire Rapid (Fires loaded rockets rapidly).

EDIT: Superweapon edition!

Triple Heavy Maser
Lethal? Yeah, I'd say so.
Description: The ultimate in heavy military firepower, the Triple Heavy Maser is designed to destroy anything. With both an automatic and charge mode, it can fit into any situation and triumph.
Magazine Size: 40 wave units
Primary: Fire in automatic mode.
Secondary: Charge mode. A fully charged shot (40 units) acts like an instagib rifle shot.
Special: Use scope.
Fire modes: single-barrel auto, tri-barrel auto, barrage mode (fires barrels in sequence)

... oh... awesome. But is it the original Automag? They are different, believe it or not.

Automag (yes, that's made out of paper):

Enforcer:

And please, give me some constructive criticism. I'd like to know what works well and what doesn't.

From where is the Eightball idea? from UT99 or Unreal? or is based in a new model?

I would like to see the original UT99 Eightball under Ballistic Weapons engine! (Using the same rockets from the JL21-MRL PeaceMaker) Someone says do it? ;D

And also the classic UT99 Enforcer, but with his gangsta stile! (Although a new re-skinned Automag is a good idea)

I like the Z-99 Zastava (the combination of a machine pistol and a shotgun, oh yeah!)
